Acrobatics: [1d20+2] = 19+2 = 21 + Guidance [1d4] = 4 = 25

What next?

======
Using the pole to traverse the twelve foot wide northeastern passageway requires an easy Athletics skill check.
Guidance (+1d4) is available from Darren.

Does the hook have an obvious function?
===========//================

"Can I take a look at that?" Sue will check out the hook on the pole.

It's pretty solid.
Not sharp though, so unlikely to be a weapon.

"Let me go first."

Athletics check advantage:
[1d20] = 13 + [1d4] = 4 =17
[1d20] = 16 + [1d4] = 4 = 20
I'm keeping the same 1d4 role as the unseen servant is not working at this time.

Once across Woody uses the mage hand to return the pole to the other side.

With the pole returned Sue will see if the hook works on anything around him. Part of the gate, the loop, any feature on the wall.

If nothing he will use it to cross.

Athletics(STR)(7):[1d20+7] = 13+7 = 20

"Can you send that back?"

Nothing gets mechanically pulled but the effort is sufficient to traverse the northeastern sewer passage.

Looking further along the northwestern sewer passage you see another wall-to-wall, ceiling-to floor barrier of metal bars.
It's similar in all respects to the one just encountered except that it's appropriately wider and higher, and has a gate on the southern walkway.

The gate is closed. It appears to have a lock.

======
Using the newlyacquired pole to vault across would require an average Athletics skill check.
Guidance is available.

***
Anyone closely examining the gate can confirm that it is locked.
Guidance can be available if required for related actions.
