"Are you dressed? We need to watch the camp." Locky suggests, watching the woman change. "But I wonder what's going on."

Drawing his blade Jerrard attacks No. 4, cursing when Ulster falls.

Init 5, hit AC3, for 5 damage.

"Imani!" Malika yells as the warrior runs off. "Oh, great! Now the only thing standing between me and certain doom is a soaking wet kender!"

Locky notices that the nearby horses and donkeys stir, sensing danger nearby.

Jerrard fights for his life against two opponents at once. He manages to stab one of them with his short sword, which causes the Baaz to cry out in pain. It retaliates, but loses its grip on its curved blade, and drops it to the ground with a potent curse. The other draconian moves in, but Jerrard is able to deftly parry the attack.

That was nothing, though. Jeremy was fighting off three opponents at once, and with nothing more than a dagger, at that! He stabs at one of them, but the weapon bounces off the creature's tough scales. "What are you going to do with that little mosquito of a weapon?" the Baaz taunts him. Jeremy manages to dance around two of their attacks, but the third one manages to cut into the woodsman's leg, spilling blood.

Thuskar and his two opponents are at a stalemate. He manages to fend off their attacks, but they are able to fend off his, as well. "Damn dracs, get out of my way!" Thuskar shouts, swinging his great sword haphazardly.

Imani arrives on the scene and takes in the battlefield. Thuskar is fighting off two Baaz, as is Jerrard. Jeremy is fighting off three. Ulster is down and is not stirring. Three draconians, bloodlust in their eyes charge right at Babushka just as the warrior princess arrives.

Babushka nocks an arrow in her bow, but realizes there is no time. The draconians will be on her before she can get a good bead. All three of them charge at full speed, running on hands and feet like wild beasts. Quickly she draws a bead on the wounded one, but he's moving too fast. In seconds, he's upon her, striking downward with his scimitar. The gnome rolls to the side, but too late; she feels the burning sting of steel cutting her flesh. When she comes up, she pulls back and lets loose the arrow, not even taking time to aim. Luck is with her, though; the arrow pierces the Baaz's throat and it petrifies. The other two arrive, but she manages to duck and weave around them. She fires a second arrow, but it goes too wide and hits nothing but air.

"Look the horses know it's not safe. Get your sword Malika!" She orders, moving near the horses.

Imani curses under her breathe as she takes in the situation. She knows she wouldn't be able to reach Ulster, so she turns to the draconians attacking the gnome. ~These are the ones that turn to stone,~ she mentally tells herself as she makes her first attack upon the Baaz on Babushka's right (6).

Jeremy take a second to find and pickup his sword.

Babushka drops her bow and draws the longtooth and fine daggers. She attacks #5, but she misses both times.

Locky moves closer to the horses and donkeys, which seem to calm them down at least a little bit. Eyes wide in fear, Malika grabs her khopesh sword and looks around, practically turning in circles, for whatever danger may come.

Jeremy quickly drops down and grabs his short sword from the ground. He then throws it up just in time to parry a scimitar. He hops aside to avoid a second, only to see a third slashing right at his throat. He throws himself backwards, but is just a hair too slow. The very tip of the blade cuts across his neck, leaving a thin trail of blood in its wake. He lands on his feet and is ready for action again.

Babushka drops her bow to the ground and quickly draws her daggers from her boots. The one in her right hand suddenly grows in size, so that it's as big as a short sword. She parries one blow and ducks under another, but is unable to do any damage herself, either.

Imani comes rushing in to rescue the ranger, scimitars in both her hands. The Baaz sees her coming, though, and is able to block both attacks. "Whoa, another one!" He leers at Imani. "I'll definitely be taking this one alive!"

Jerrard stabs the now unarmed draconian with his short sword, right in its chest (but missing its heart). "Gah, damned mage! I'll get you for that!" the Baaz screams. Instead of picking up its fallen weapon, it simply leaps at Jerrard with his claws. The wizard dodges one claw, but is raked by the other, staining his white robes with crimson. Jerrard quickly pivots and throws up his sword, blocking a scimitar from the other drac. He then turns back to the unarmed opponent and stabs him again, this time not missing the heart. Ironically, despite being the one to warm the others of the Baaz turning to stone, he waits a second too long. The creature petrifies, trapping his short sword within it. No amount of tugging will free it, and now it is Jerrard who is left unarmed.

Thuskar sidesteps both of his opponent's attacks, then cleaves one of the Baaz's head clean from his shoulders. The stone head tumbles to the ground. Thuskar, eyes still blazing with rage, turns to his last opponent and swings, but the draconian manages to tumble aside at the last second.

"Curses!" Jerrard swears, reaching for a dagger from his belt, driving at No 2.

Init 3, hit Ac 5 to 2 damage.

"Stay calm, come to me." Locky urges, talking calmly. "We need to stay calm." Patting Malika side she smiles. "Have you ever used that sword?"

"Not actually on someone!" Malika admits to Locky. "I usually just talk my way out of trouble. Actually, I've never used this particular sword ever. Jerrard bought it for me back on the boat."

Jerrard draws his dagger and lunges for his opponent, but the draconian positions himself so the blade merely scratches his armor. Hissing, the draconian counters with his scimitar, piercing Jerrard's magical armor and cutting him across the chest. "Surrender humans and we may let you live yet!" he says, pointing his curved blade at the wizard. Jerrard notices from the corner of his eye that the petrified Baaz holding his sword crumbles to dust, freeing the weapon.

Babushka strikes with her two blades, but the Baaz dances aside and avoids. "By the Dark Queen, how can someone so small fight so well?" the draconian asks hypothetically as he slashes downward at the gnome's head, only for her to tumble aside at the last second. "Fer cryin' out...hold still already!" he demands, glaring at her.

Thuskar's opponent spots an opening and takes it. He lashes out, his blade slicing into Thuskar's left arm. "Gah!" the warrior cries. The wounded arm drops limp at his side, and he's forced to hold his weapon with one hand.

"Aha!" the Baaz taunts. "That was for my brothers!"

Thuskar clenches his teeth, ignores the pain, and takes his weapon in both hands again. Lightning quick, he slashes across the creature's throat. It staggers, grasping at its bleeding neck, before tumbling to the ground and solidifying into stone.

"That was for mine," Thuskar retorts and spits on the stone corpse.

"Die human!" a Baaz shouts, coming right at Jeremy. The woodsman quickly drops down and holds out his leg, tripping the creature. It tumbles to the ground snout-first and lies there a moment, stunned. Jeremy then sidesteps another attack. Finally, he then turns back to his main opponent. Both he and the Baaz strike at the same time, but their weapons lock, sparks flying.

Imani, fighting side by side with Babushka, is also dual-wielding. Her blades flash in the fading sunlight, one nearly taking her opponent's arm off, but the other hitting only air. Although his arm hangs limply at his side, the draconian continues to attack with his good arm. Imani parries and then strikes again, but the blade bounces off his armor.
