Katten will signal when they get to the lockbox for him to approach.

He will follow the signal, and stay 30 ft away.

While the others scan the room, Linar moves forward and checks the small lockbox for any traps, shaking his head to quietly indicate he finds none. Drawing a pair of thin metal tools from his pouch, the Drow has the box opened in short order. Opening the small box reveals several gemstones, a pair of pearls and an egg-shaped ball of what appears to be Brass. The group recognizes it immediately as the 'pommel' described in Tannis' journal!

Katten takes the arrows and short bow unless anyone stops her and the second part of the device.
The Gemstones have no value to her..
"Quiver magic, holds many arrows." She beams her toothy grin. She will take the longsword for now at least.

Nocturno will approach.
"The gems will buy the group provisions and a place to rest." He will also pick up the fish. "This might help boost strength also."
=======================================
Do the gems or pearls look worthy of spell casting components?

Katten shrugs. She still hadn't grasped this need for money..

Katten tucks away the arrows and some of the other weapons. Nocturno inspects the stones, which seem to be of decent quality. Linar examines the pearls as well. These certainly appear to be of high enough quality for identification components, at first glance.

"We take armour? Chainmail might be good for people outside " she suggests picking up the armor and the helmet/shields
Is there anything she can store it all in?

"Maybe the survivors might feel better with armour."
"Any idea what is under those stairs?"

"We take it when done." She states and moves to the stairs in question.

Some of the larger hides could be wrapped around the gear, like a sack, for transport.
Katten moves back to the battered shield weighed down by heavy rocks and battered into place. Moving the stones she slides the heavy metal shield to one side, producing a loud scraoing noise. Beneath reveals a natural passage, large enough for a human to pass through, that continues down into the earth at an angle.

Nocturno holds, putting down the keg of fish.
He stays still trying to stay quiet to listen after the shield is moved.

"Faen!" She curses softly under her breath. "We go look. I go first." Can she keep an arrow notched as she decends or does she need the balance?

The passage is tight and steep enough that those moving through will have to effectively climb/ crawl. A one-handed medium item like a sword, shield or torch could be carried but a bow would not be usable.

Then Katten will place the bow in it's quiver and removes her axe from it's belt hoop, the single weapon could be thrown if needed.
She proceeds to descend on all fours the axe held out before her..
"I go, call up if safe."
