Chapter 1 - Waterdavian Affairs

[Nocturno]

"Well maybe I can leave you to practice that, for if we need it. I am going to check with my contact."

Sue will leave for the safe house to stash some of his armory unless anyone else says something that catches his attention.

[Before sue leaves, Nix will get as accurate of a description from him as possible, having never met nor seen the man in question. Including any personality habits he might be aware of]

Sue can only provide a very basic description.

[Jenara]

"I suppose we will see you in the morning." Alecia smiles warmly and sees the big man from the room.

[Nocturno]

"Yes. Early start?"

[Jenara]

"I'm usually up early. I have devotions to make." She grins, "It was strange but nice meeting you Sue." She pauses Touching his forehead with her middle finger if he so allows. "Remember, sometimes the Lady smiles, sometimes she laughs out loud". With that she steps back. "Perhaps meet us here at say seven bells?" Once he replies she closes the door.

[Nocturno]

He will allow it.

"7 bells, it is."

Nix nods goodbye to the newly-met watchman.

When everyone has finished for the day, I'm planning on running a Tristen-like montage for tomorrow so that the story arc can progress, so please start thinking about the activities you want to cover in down time. I'm flexible on this. I will also post xp.

Alecia and Nix are ready for their visitor a short while before the agreed time.
Seven bells sounds.
No Sue.
Some time passes and then there is a 'rat-tat-pause-rat-tat' knock on the door which Alecia recognizes as characteristic of Asher.

Opening the door will reveal that he has escorted Sue who is eating something that reeks of onions.
Assuming that Sue is admitted into the apartment, Asher nods to Alecia, looks through Nix, and descends the stairs.

[Jenara]

"Come in." Rina smiles opening the door wide, Bowing to Asher she adjusts her plain black shirt and steps aside, the simple leather skirt cut to reveal her toned legs creaks ever so slightly as she moves. Closing the door behind him she moves to the bed, quickly shooting crumbs onto the floor for now.

"So, last night, we found a few more things, they were hidden under the bed." She explains handing him the items in the purple pouch. "The Vial is a healing potion, the Ring, well I guess that confirms he was this Red Parrot."

A dark blue felt pouch tied off with a dark blue drawstring, containing:
a vial
a signet ring (with a red stone shaped like a parrot)
a pair of long, flat ended tweezers.

[Nocturno]

"Good morning, sorry I am a bit late. That halfling almost got the better of me with the cups."

Looking over the items:

"Huh, interesting, any guess on the tweezers?. Are you able to tell if items are magic? Daisy eluded to clerics being able to tell such things last night."

He will look at each, and set them on the table.

[How long are the tweezers? Like big for tanning hides, or just longer than normal so like 5 inches?]

When Sue handles tweezers he notices that the forked the be is slightly greasy. They are delicate and about 5 " long.

A Perception skill check DC10 would give a +2 bonus to the Investigation skill check.

Sue checks out the curiously greasy tweezers a bit more.

Perception(Wis)(2): [1d20+2] = 17+2 = 19

[USS hates Sue... I swear.]

Sue notes the grease on the bottom 3" of the tweezers and almost recognises it, then loses the plot, before coming to the conclusion that it's fish oil.

He probably still has the odour of almonds in his nostrils from the night before.
