Re: CH. 11: The Show Must Go On
Tulbas stands there and stares at the Gnome completely taken by surprise. "Sorry. You said you will come to the mageware shop. You didn't arrive. I was looking for you yesterday and didn't find you, then I tried to check on Gregeddin but he is also missing. And I have my duties. You think it is easy to live with Magnus? So our paths didn't cross but put things in the right proportion. Anyway, I'm truly sorry if I hurt you. Please accept my apology." Tulbas says. After Haaque responds he let him continue with his practice and he turn to Gobax, "So, he made you in charge of the money collection? He must trust you highly." Tulbas says quietly, still recovering from the unexpected yelling.

Kendra finds a good spot to stand, so that she can get a good view of the audience and the stage. She keeps her eyes open for anyone strange.

Or I was his last option, Gobax says. Speaking of which, i'd better get to it. The goblin goes to collect the entry fee from the soldiers, making special note of any officers.
Re: CH. 11: The Show Must Go On
Haahqae doesn't so much as reply to Tulbas about this, istead he notices a few draconians arriving for the show and declares "I should leave now. It ruins the effect if the performer is seen before the performance." And he hustles off around the corner, where he'll wait out of sight until its time for the show to begin.

Haahqae, Kendra, Tulbas and Gobax (Grand Market)
Haahqae hurries off to hide before the show begins.
Kendra stands off to the side, in a position where she can see the audience and the stage at the same time. She notices Camilla nearby. She doesn't take a seat, but is standing to watch the show anyway.
Gobax calls over the arriving soldiers. They seem surprised to see a goblin in charge of collecting the payment. "Hey, maybe this guy really is pro-soldier," one says. They start dropping five silver each into the sack he procured. None of them look to be anything more than common infantry foot soldiers. A little more than fifty of them show up, pay and sit down. By the time they have all arrived, Gobax has collected nearly over a couple hundred silver coins.
Haahqae makes a juggling check [TN 16] (1d20): 3, pass. He passes by more than 5, so 50% of the first half will show up.
Haahqae makes a reputation check [TN 4] (1d20): 16, fail. He fails by more than 5, so 0% of the second half will show up.
(OOC: Adding another 10% for lower prices, means that 60% of the 90 will show up, so 54 soldiers in total. That adds up to 270 silver pieces.)
Felran, Ne-Chanz and Shima (North Haven Sewers)
"But no where to go!" cries one dwarf, sobbing wildly. "Go to other part of sewers, killed by monsters. Go on surface, killed by dragonmen. Stay here, killed by you!" They begin crying and moaning even louder now.

Arulia glances over at Bear, startled by his reply. "So life was worse before the Seekers, or worse only until they stopped caring--or pretending to care--for the city and its people?" Although she tries to, she can't quite keep the disapproval out of her voice.

"He will lead you somewhere safe," says Shima, pointing at Felran, "if you line up by him now. ..9, 8, 7.."

Re: CH. 11: The Show Must Go On
Grubnick dutifully collects the gold until all of the patrons have arrived. Far less than I thought... I had hoped the prefect might come... I wonder.
Once all of the apparent attendees are present, he puts the gold where Haahque has been hiding so the Gnome knows how mich was collected and where it is. Here is the coin from admissions. It looks like everybody paid! I'm going to go stand with the humans. Let me know if you need me. Should I collect from any latecomers, or did you say something different about that? Once done, he makes his way to where Kendra and Camilla are. Hi. Any idea what kind of show this is supposed to be?

Kendra glances to the goblin that was helping collect money for the show, and raises an eyebrow at his question. "Weren't you helping him prepare for the show?" she asks. "I though he would have told you what he was planning to do."

I just happened along at the right time. We've worked together before, and he asked me to lend a hand. he shrugs. All I know is that he juggles. Gobax gives the girl a polite smile and a wave.

"Ah," Kendra says. "Then I don't know what he has planned. I'm just here to make sure everything remains peaceful," Kendra admits.

"Wouldn't you?" Kendra asks curiously. "Most of the people in this city don't like the army, and this would be a good opportunity for someone to carry out an attack on a large number of soldiers." Despite the fact she was sent here because the perfect was paranoid, she could see his point of view easily enough when it came to this performance.

I suppose... but I can't imagine what group would be able to attack 100 soldiers in broad daylight. he said
Re: CH. 11: The Show Must Go On
Tulbas follows Gobax from a safe distance afraid the mistrust the soldiers have to him would harm the income of Haaque. When they return to the Gmone he nods his agreement to Gobax counting. "Would you like to start the show coming out from a cloud of fog? Would you like to leave that way?" He suggests. If Haaque dismiss these options he follows Gobax to find a place near Kendra. "Hi Kendra. How are you? We haven't met for weeks. A lot happened during that time eh?" He says, dark cloud passing his features. Then he gives another good look at her uniform, "A lot..." he emphasis. "I never thought about this gathering as opportunity to hit the Dragon Army. Suppose something like that happen what do you plan to do? Where is your unit? The crowd? And also, can me and Gobax assist you in any way?" Tulbas asks sincerely, sure Gobax shares the same feelings.
