"Plans are mean't to change!" Esse will attack the creature facing her, slicing at it twice while moving past it, allowing Martin to finish it off. She'll then move on to the one attacking belilon.
"Thanks, I'll take this one." pointing to the creature slowly advancing on the cleric. "you wanna help lover boy?" She points her sword towards Bjarg.
"Hey, you!" Shouting at Ag, "Go for the eyes! Like the man says! I'll give you a hand when I can."

*Martin attacks the creature facing Esse, doing 9HP of damage. Esse is able to finish the creature off, before turning her attention to the one advancing on the cleric.*
( OOC - Stik's action was posted first, so your post, Jenara, could not jump ahead of his. The creature's back was now to Martin, who gained the element of surprise.)
*The rattler strikes at Ag, but just misses biting into him. The sword slices cleanly through the snake's body, it crumples to dust and leaves behind two sparkling peridots for the warrior to pocket.*

Ag will now move to protect the injured and weaponless cleric, stepping between him and the advancing rutterkin if possible. "Back ye vile beast!" He will swing his sword at the creature in any way he can to avoid hitting any of his new found companions.

Beillion reaches for his potion to heal himself while he looks for his weapon. He makes sure to leave Sim to his own devices. If the creature after him moves forward, it is not going near the caster.

Heading towards Bellion she stands alongside Ag, her short form dwarfed against his tall frame.
"We have to talk when this is over, I guess they will too."
She raises her sword ready to engage the creature.

Martin, blades at the ready, addresses the last remaining rutterkin: "Hey! Curly! I'll make you a deal. Tell us why you're moving so slowly and we'll give you a break."
If it's willing to speak, he'll speak to it. Otherwise, it's the blades.

"They're not slow...." Bjarg begins [ooc-attacks, swinging for the creature's legs] "We're just too damned fast!"
(OOC by LWW- The first Rutterkin is still alive, but on its knees before Bjarg; you are attacking its legs for the kill?)

*Hearing the commotion behind it, the third Rutterkin turns to face Esse, Ag and Martin; leaving Beillion alone to heal, for the moment. Though slightly injured, it advances on the three comrades with Beillion's sword, swinging it at them.*
*Bjarg still has the first Rutterkin before him, the creature has fallen to its knees, so Bjarg smashes his club down upon the creatures legs. It does not kill the Rutterkin, but severely damages the legs, so it cannot move its lower body. However, it does reach around with one of its long arms and grabs onto one of Bjarg's legs; casting a fear by touch spell upon the warrior, and then dies from the exhaustion. The warrior is now terrified and runs off screaming into the room where the Rutterkin once resided. *
(OOC - Rutterkins one and two are now dead. Sim is back in the L shaped room, Bjarg is now cowarding in the Rutterkin's room, Beillion is resting against a wall and healing. Ag and Esse are standing next to each other, facing the third Rutterkin; Martin is slightly back of them. Have I got the order correct?)

[OOC] I believe that is the case. I am sooo going to wind Bjarg up!! Cowering in a corner!! [/ooc]
Esse moves her eyes slightly to watch the Warrior flee in terror, a sudden streak of concern crosses her face. Suddenly it is replaced with anger, her sword raised she faces up to the creature.
"Right, don't let them touch you, stay out of reach.." Ignoring the look Martin will give her in regards to ordering people around, hell she can but try.
Staring at the Cleric, her face still angry "Can you help the big brute? Please, at least calm him down, haven't seen him that scared since I tied him naked to a tree...."
"So, Mr Jester, want this one or do you want me and lanky here to take him?" Its obvious she and Ag are closer....

"I've got this," Martin says, calmly. He looks the rutterkin right in the face, then smiles warmly.
"SO, where are you from? I just came in by galley from Capua, and boy are my arms tired.
"You're a demon, which is interesting. I haven't met many demons, but from what I've seen, they tend to be a bit grumpy, which is understandable, considering the travel involved. Must be tough for you guys, manifesting on the prime material...I mean even without luggage. But at least that way you don't have to worry about getting shampoo through security at the seaport, am I right?
"I mean, you could do a posession, but, wow, demonic possession, what's that all about? Up from the Abyss, no luggage - that's a callback, you see? - anyway, all the way up from the Abyss, all those layers, and what do you do? Jump into some teenaged girl? I mean, why? Apart from the obvious reasons. I mean, who doesn't want to do that, particularly if she's attractive?
"But why not possess someone important? Someone influential? Someone famous? Someone like Simon of the Cowl - oh, wait.
(pause for applause)
"I have to say, though, if given the choice, I'd rather have a demon inside me than a priest. After all, with a demon, once he's out of you he's gone, cast out, back to the netherworld, rather than just being transferred to another parish."
Martin will stand en garde while delivering his speech, but will not make any hostile moves otherwise, unless the rutterkin attacks him, in which case he will defend himself while continuing to speak.
[OOC] The goal here it two-fold. First, jesters can counter the effects of natural or magical fear by use of a well-placed joke, so he's trying to help Bjarg. Second, a jester can use humor to influence reactions, so perhaps he can get the rutterkin to talk instead of attacking. [/OOC]

Esse smiles, her face twisting into a small giggle. She backs off slightly motioning for the tall Ag to do the same, this guy seems crazy, but that last plan nearly worked.
"Ok, step back, make no threatening moves, lets see what happens."
She'll keep her weapon drawn and ready, both hands clutching the hilt, her eyes glancing between the creature, Martin and the door Bjarg took..

Ayagnox, with quite the perplexed look on his face, will step back, but will keep his sword raised ready to make an attack should the beast make any sort of aggressive movement. To Esse, he says "I don't get it, what was so funny? If I were at a theater I would have used up all of my tomatoes by now," in an attempt to get a smile of his own from her. "Also, I don't understand why we don't just send this beast back to its maker?"

"Give the man a chance, he's not as silly as he looks." She doesn't smile again, once she even looks like she is going to head to the room and check on Bjarg.

"On it" Beillion moves out to follow the panic stricken companion. He calls out. "To me, Bjarg. There are no monsters here!" He reassures the man.

From beyond the room, giggles erupt into full blown laughter, echoing off the stone walls. Through gasping breath Sim can be heard talking to himself "Priest....transferred to another parish...HHAHAHAHAHAAAAHAHeeehehehee.....Simon..*giggle*..Cowl WAHAHAHAHA!...*gasp**pant, pant* *giggle*"
