Yasir will approach with a genuine smile on his face, the sturdy blacksmith seems like a reliable sort, and raises his hand in greeting a verbal greeting dying on his lips and then bubbling forth despite the language barrier.
"hullo there johnny, how's the forge today? Burning hot as usual I suppose. Its an alright town you've got here, but where's the action, eh? Seems all doom and gloom, just sad you know?"
Yasir will attempt to affect a more serious manner after his brief outburst which he is sure will not be comprehended. He will perform a slight bow and stretch out a hand to shake as soon as john has a moment. Yasir will attempt to mime out his desire to talk with and question john.

A small smile turns up the corner of John's mouth at his boisterous greeting, and he gladly shakes the tan warrior's hand. The tall, red-head apprentice stands not far away watching the interaction with a stoic, almost blank, expression... the only one Yasir has ever seen on him. Yasir extends an arm, palm up, to one side as if to draw them away. John nods and lays his tools down, saying something brief to his apprentice. The young man brings a skin to the thicker, shorter man. John offers the water to his guest first, then takes a long pull when Yasir is done.

In a moment of excitement, Pyros will forego the attempt to look for a trap, and try to open the lock.

Yasir will indicate to the skin of water and then tap nearby piece of metal, attempting to suggest he'd like a metal flask. He gives rough measurements of an in inch and a half thick, eight inches wide and almost a foot long. He attempts to convey the idea that it should curve so that it may ride at his thigh with ease.
Yasir will then draw a rough sketch on the ground/table/parchment with whstever is handy, soot, coal or just drawing in the dirt. He will attempt to draw a small walled in area and attempt to convey that this is the city they are in. He will then point to himself and then motion to the area around the city and then having his fingers walk the area.

"Pyros.." Mira spins round, suddenly noticing the Kender. "Yes I heard that too, I was about to ask you to open the door." Keeping a small distance from the door she waits for Pyros to open the door.

It takes a moment for John to understand, but he takes a long pull of water and wipes his brow. Reaching into a cabinet he fishes out a plain metal flask that fits Yasir’s description. It is a little smaller than what the warrior pantomimed, but not by much. He can also feel some liquid inside.
Scratching in the hard-packed ground with a piece of thin bar-stock handy, the tan man draws a square and makes his motions. John scratches his beard in thought and looks to the drawing. After thinking a short while, the blacksmith adds a curvy line running North of the town and a deep mark to the East. He then crosses the square with three small marks, two of which match up with the gates on the south wall. The third mark crosses the wavy line north, and he drags it out much further. Tapping the point where it crosses the river, he rubs two fingers together in the universal symbol for money.
Mira, Pyros and Elsa: The Toad’s Toe
Pyros sets to work on the lock, just when Mira is about to ask him too. It doesn’t take the skilled rogue long before the lock clicks open with a snap. While he is working there are faint sounds of movement from inside, and a dim light can be seen as if from another room deeper within the narrow building.

"I can slip in quietly and see what is actually happening." he will say in a hushed somewhat subdued voice. But you will be able to see the excitement clearly written on his face.

"So could I." She gives the Kender a little wink. "But we are sort of intruding on someones home. I'll do it the proper way, of course if you were to sneak in... I really doubt I would be able to stop you."
"Elsa, do you want to come, he might be injured..." She asks before opening the door wide, allowing the Kender to slip inside, before following him. "Hello the shop, are you ok? I heard a noise." Hand resting on her sword hilt she keeps her eyes open.

Mira, Pyros and Elsa: The Toad’s Toe
As soon as Mira opens the door a wave of pale blue light flashes from the entrance, washing over all of them. Pyros makes his way inside silently and sticks to the shadows left of the door. Mira feels a shock, as if she had been dunked in icy water. She struggles to move or cry out, but is unable to do either!
The bard sees little more than shadows, but to Pyros' fey eyes the red haze of a hunched figure emerges through a dim doorway behind a tall service counter. Pas ce que je m'y attendais... illuminus! Light springs into being, dazzling the Kender's eyes as they strain to adjust back from his infravision.
It only takes a moment for his vision to return to normal, and the figure resolves into an old man with whispy white hair. The top of his head is mostly bald and scattered with small tan spots and tiny purple veins here-and there. His eyes, one blue-violet and the other milky-white, regard Pyros with suspicion and mild surprise. He wears tattered robes and one gnarled hand rests casually on a short branch of what appears to be amber... Et qui es-tu, petit cambrioleur?
[Lang check at Toad's Toe: Mira, Pyros [1d100] = 59[1d100] = 90. Pass, Fail. Mira understands, but cannot reply. Pyros doesn't understand.

"S'il vous plaît, nous voulons aucun mal ou délit." She tries to say in Harmonian, yet no words come out, where was Elsa? The cleric had obviously chosen to stay outside instead of stupidly charging inside. Living at the inn had dulled her wits, three weeks of good food and relative safety had taken away her edge..
Using a trick Bardon had taught her (he claimed he was taught it by a Silvanesti elf of all things!) she tried to bring herself to a state of relaxation and calm, trying to recall what spells could cause her to be frozen like this.
