Nocturno walks with Elden, making sure he keeps up. And then stands watch, and offers to carry any bags of loot.

He isn't that muscley so Linar is more than happy for Nocturno to carry bags of loot.

The party gathers with the freed prisoners in the open area before the long passage to the Bear den. Katten moves off to inspect the area.

And if the pit is not inhabited, has it been searched?

[the pit has only been observed from above. Visible from floor level are bones and sticks but no one has climbed down to inspect]

Linar covers Katten's dscent with his bow and will try to shoot anything that goes to attack her.

Placing her bow in its Quiver Katten begins to desend, drawing a dagger as she reaches the base, and heads carefully, testing her footing as she approaches the central pillar.

I'm a bit confused about Katten's action here. She descends or she goes into the room beyond?

Descending only leads to the pit which appears to be a dead end from ground level. Progressing to the room beyond (with the central pillar) requires crossing which she can leap over (strength check) or climb past (climb check)

I suppose she could climb down into the pit and up the other side but i would still need a climb check

My mistake! Misread the map.

She scales down the pit quite easily.
