Re: CH. 1: Haven and Hell
OOC: Ha! I love the description. That was great.
IC: "The riot was going to start with or without my help," Kendra admits with a sigh. "There have been signs of one starting for awhile now. The people just needed a little extra push, and taking their so called prophet away like I did yesterday was enough for them to start one," she admitted. "All they would have to do is let him go, send him on his way, and his so called followers would leave with him. It is a simple solution, but none of them will do it."

Re: CH. 1: Haven and Hell
Darga furrows his brow as he thinks on Haahqae's description. While he could tell that the gnome thought highly of this Seeker, he could make neither heads nor tails of what she was supposed to look like. But if she was interrogating a prophet, maybe he'd find her that way.
While he's sad to see the strange woman go, he imagines that she's right. Going into a demon-filled mine is probably not the best thing she could do if she's looking for some place safe. Nevertheless, he's relieved when Haahqae turns his rather short attention back to the Seeker and suggests that they all go and find her. Maybe the others would have a better time with figuring out just what the gnome's description actually meant.

Hmm, another new entrant, or not it would appear. There were certainly a lot of new faces that this mine owner had brought around him. ..
"Well your word be your bond then noble lord!" Addressing the mine owner.
Now to the group in general, "What now then, daylight, if you can call this grey daylight, is beginning to pass. Do we need to find our Guard, or moving on anywhere? I can go with Darga if we need to spend more time here, lest we should set off soon enough."
Gregeddin folds his pack lid up and swings it onto his shoulder. "And by the way, a pleasure to meet you miss" lightly bowing his head towards the cloaked figure.

Outside Kynaston's House
The woman looks at Kynaston and seems to think over what he has said. "Alright. You appear trustworthy enough. Where should I search for you tomorrow then?" she asks. She turns to Coroccoco. "Stay here, in this old shack? How many of you would stay to protect me, if I agreed to that?" she asks.
"Nice to meet you, as well," she says to Gregeddin. "To all of you," she adds, looking around the group.
Marketplace
"You're the one who arrested their prophet, too?" the kender asks, incredulous. "Well, your idea sounds fun. Let's go bust him out of jail then!"

"The pleasure is all mine." Haahqae replies, bowing so low he does a front-flip. Righting himself again he scans the uncommon mercenary group and motions that they should get going to the marketplace.

"I'll lose my job if I just go bust him out of jail," Kendra says. "Even though, it does seem to be the right thing to do at this point before anyone else gets hurt."
Re: CH. 1: Haven and Hell
Kynaston shouts to the cloaked mage as he leaves, "It's not hard to find me- that old shack there is my house. If I ain't there by noon tomorrow, don't bother lookin' for me."

Outside Kynaston's House
Kynaston and Haahqae set out toward the marketplace, not waiting to see if Gregeddin, Darga and Coroccoco accompany them or not.
Marketplace
A fire breaks out across the marketplace, as someone has set one of the shops aflame. "I think we better get going before we get caught up in it again," the kender suggests. "Come on, we can walk across the rooftops; I'm up here all the time, so I know the way."

"Yeah, all right," Kendra says as she follows after the kender. "Thanks again, by the way," she adds.

Coroccoco stands unwavering where she is, not soon to let the barbarian out of her sight. She faces the woman in front of her, neutral and aloof. "Human, owner of the mine, whence came the coin for your promised bounty."
Re: CH. 1: Haven and Hell
"His word be his bond as far as I am satisfied, could be his inheritance from granny, but as long as he shows it..." leaving the sentence hanging as the point seems clear enough, Gregeddin slings his other arm through his pack and moves to follow the others.

Re: CH. 1: Haven and Hell
Darga quickly picks up his pack and walking stick and follows Haahqae towards the center of town. If the woman could be persuaded to come along with them, then it would be someone else who would convince her. Even if he thought that she'd be safer with them than elsewhere, words were not his strong point. The Seeker, on the other hand, had already agreed, but just needed to be found.

"Came from the mine itself, of course," the barbarian explains. "Profits from before it shut down. You coming?" He then heads after the others, before he loses them. This leaves only Daxia and Coroccoco remaining.
Blade Street
"Let's go," the kender says. "Name's Pen, by the way." He hops from rooftop to rooftop, like a monkey.
They head southward, toward Blade Street, and away from the riot going on in the marketplace. As they travel, Kendra spots some familiar people down on the street below--the gnome she met yesterday, along with a few of the others that were forming a group to investigate that mine (plus one more she did not recognize--a dwarf, maybe?). They are walking the street, apparently heading toward the marketplace.

Coco stares at Daxia for one last moment. "Be safe." She murmurs, stalking quickly after the rest of the group.

"Kendra," she says to the kender. "Hey, stop for a second," she calls out to Pen as she moves to the edge of the rooftop. "Hey!" she calls down to the group. "I wouldn't go that way!"
