Pyros notices some unusual noises coming from the room with Jerry and Merrick. [They've only been up a few hours today. He's probably not going to sleep, chris].

Cross calls upstairs and ourside that the food is ready.

Pyros will bolt down for the food, and try to not look at the bed as he goes by... But his curiosity will get the better of him.

"DINNER TIME!!"

After a pause and a double-take, Jerry pronounced, "Pyros, the ranger needs your help. Now!"

Artanis responds to the call for dinner and strides into the kitchen, his nose telling him that this dinner is going to be good. "Cross, you are a gentleman, a scholar and a chef."

Then Artanis calls for Pyros as he doesn't want his friend to miss out on this meal. "PYROS! DINNER IS SERVED! HURRY BEFORE THE PUPS EAT YOUR PORTION!"

Pyros will pop up behind Artanis' chair and yell "THANKS!"

He will jump into a chair and get ready for the meal.

Upstairs Merrick says, There's no way i'm going to be able to sleep now. Why don't we eat?

"Fine," Jerry replies, brushing out a non-existent crease in her blue robe.

"I wasn't even married for 2 days... and I know that means she isn't!" he will elbow Artanis.

Artanis (and Kerap) bursts out laughing at Pyros remark. "I wonder if I have a spell that can help Merrick with the problem that apparently has made Jerry upset? Or perhaps that alchemist in town has a spare blue pill he can give Merrick?"

Merrick begins to say something, but refrains. Downstairs Jerry joins the others, and the footsteps of the invisible mage can be heard.

Everyone gathers around the round table in the kitchen. There aren't many plates and sets of silverware, but everyone finds either a knife or fork and something to hold their food (in some cases a bowl). Cross has prepared a series of perfectly seared venison steaks, juicy inside, with buttery garlic and fresh herbs melted atop. Turnips and beets roasted to a mild sweet nutiness and their sauteed greens with a slightly tart flavor for balance make up the perfectly seasoned sides.

I couldn't find any pepper juice... who doesn't have pepper juice in the house?! And i couldn't find any bread. He shrugs. Oh well, dig in!

Rolled a 4 for Cross' NWP cooking check, so the food is extra delicious

Does anyone have plans for the rest of the game day or shall we press on to the morrow?

Pyros' goal will be to root around the house for anything interesting. Even rechecking places he has been if necessary to fill time.

If anyone is going to attempt to bash the safe, he will be on that like a dirty shirt.

Something unique to the area/home. Shiny or odd looking. Maybe even something broken in a weird way.

Although he doesn't have that particular NWP, after dinner Artanis will attempt to work with and train the pups.

Sitting next to Merrick Jerry enjoys the food, commenting, "Superb cooking, so thank you. Out of interest, what animal is the meat from?"
After 10 minutes she stops metaphorically pouting and searches discretely for his hand or leg and gives it a gentle squeeze.
