Wiping a tear from her eye Katten approaches her friend, running her hand down the statues back before rising up to kiss her stone lips. "I will free you, I will." her soft vow made she postions herself between a column and Dillosel.

Bull
Bull will move in with caution. Once making his way in and spotting the backpack that didnt turn to stone. He removes it from the stone statue by what ever means possible. Either slipping it off the stone arms or undoing the straps once off he drops to one knee and takes a look inside.

Linar hold position, remaining as hidden and quiet as the grave as he is able, while listening intently*.

Katten takes up a position beside her petrified friend, and Dellinanth does the same on the opposite side. Nocturno moves in his heavy armor to one side of the group. The natural cavern seems to follow a longer narrower shape farther on.
Bullock moves forward to join those in front. Navigating his way between rock formations and hunched from the low ceiling makes the movement uncomfortable but not impossible. The stoned figure and design of the pack are in such an orientation that the pack cannot be removed without cutting the straps, but it is easy enough to open. It seems to contain some standard adventuring gear as well as a soft Leather Pouch and what appears to be a travel Journal. Glancing back at the broken figure of the warrior on the ground to his other side, he notes that the Warrior's Shield remains untransformed as well as another pouch on his belt.
Linar remains at his current position and listens carefully for any sound of oncoming danger but all he hears at the moment are the movements of the rest of the party. Jordek hesitates near the entrance, the darkness of the cavern before perhaps giving him pause.

Bullock
Cuts the straps on the back pack and stuffs the whole thing in his pack and leaves it off to go and gather the other pouch from the other warrior. Stuffs it all into his pack and puts it back on. Returning the darts from his hand back into his leg sheaths. Drawing a broad sword and picks up the warrior's shield and adjusts it on his left arm like a buckler. Looking to see if he can see his reflection in the shield's surface. He takes a look at the floor around himself to see what else is laying around.

Nocturno will move over to the characters on the left.
In a quiet tone.
"If you stay on this side. I can try to make some noise on this other side to draw it to me. It may give you some opportunities to hit it from behind."

Carefully moving closer to the large Bullman in an attempt to feel less exposed, Jordek keeps his ears open straining to catch every scrap of sound he can.
OOC - how dark is it in here? Only normal vision on the small gnome.

Bull
In Gnomish:
Come over hear little gnome, I can see in the dark. Stay close and I will lead you to where we are heading.
Be ready to unleash the Abyss is needed.
He returns his broad sword to it's sheath not wanting to get close to the gnome with it. He then pulls a dart from his leg sheath and lifts the shield up higher.

Nocturno will move up to the X, bang his sword on the wall a couple times.
Back straight up to the first arrow. Wait. If he sees movement, he will then move to the second arrow, making it obvious he is there, if he can reflect any light with his sword or make noise while moving. He will do this all while carefully making sure to not look up directly at anything coming from down the way.

Bullock relieves the two statues of their unpetrified belongings and picks up the shield. The steel round Shield has an intricate design, on both the face and the interior, of chased-metal curling in swirls like the turbulent flow of water. Although designed to be medium sized for human creatures he is barely able to get his hand through the straps to use it in a fashion like a Buckler.
Jordek finds that this far into the cavern it is completely pitch black to his eyes, although the minotaur's voice beckons him, offering assistance.
The wild elves nod at nocturno's suggestion, and respond by lowering their blindfolds and raising their Spears. The Fighting cleric moves forward, ringing his steel against the hard Cavern wall, a sound which Echoes throughout. A few tense moments go by until the group begins to silently wonder if anything will happen. Eventually a shuffling scraping sound can be discerned by those with the sharpest hearing, and it gradually draws nearer until it can be heard by all in the relative silence.
The sluggish, waddling figure of a 7 foot long 8-legged reptile comes into Nocturno's field of vision; it's eyes glowing a sickly yellow green. As soon as the elf becomes aware of it he, averts his gaze and waits until it seems obvious that the creature has spotted him; then he backs away to one side...

Tapping his longsword on his metal armour Nocturno tries to make sure the focus is on him. Listening for it to get closer he will slip his blindfold down if he can hear it coming to the corner.
Couple options.
If the monster gets to him he will attack it.
If the monster goes for someone else, he will move towards it, and drop the pebble, and attack if he has time.

Hearing the chinking coming from far off (and nothing moving in his immediate vicinity) Linar slips the blindfold and has a look at the statue just east of him and then spies another statue perhaps 30' further east. [actually ENE] He heads for that and has a good look at it.
(If he can travel further, the drow replaces the blindfold and moves to the east wall, following it northwards, maybe getting as far as the third and easternmost statue.)

Keeping low, her bow at the ready Katten keeps herself near her friend, ready to fire hoping her small size and her postion will keep her hidden.
