Ouragana holds Maua steady, but makes no further move.

Jocelyn remains behind a column for the time being.

Areilon slips away unnoticed behind a column, sticking to the shadows like Grey.

Oren and Val both attack with their axes, and both just barely miss their opponents by a hair. The tribals, however, fair a bit better. The female, despite being blind, not only evades the half-orc's axe but also manages to knock her undead counterpart's head off her shoulders. The zombie collapses to the ground, twitching but no longer a threat. The male tribal, likewise, thwacks the other zombie pretty hard. The zombie counterattacks, but is unable to pierce the tribal's magical hide.

"Damn, they're destroying my zombies," Dalaim grumbles. He readies his quarterstaff and prepares to move in. At the same time, the female tribal begins chanting and swaying her arms about.

Areilon moves 35 feet toward the altar, and down by the column. She attempts to hide in shadows (1d100): 6, pass.

Jocelyn continues to just watch the fight from safety. No one needs healing at the moment.

Continuing to press the attack, Val hopes to stop whatever spell the tribal is working on.

I think I hit finally....

Taking a leaf out of Jocelyn's book, Ouragana uses a cantrip to make lights appear before the tribal male's eyes, zooming towards them, to distract him, hopefully making him miss his target.

Arei keeps her position, ready to move in and strike if it appeared the fight was turning the wrong way.

Grey and Areilon remain in hiding, waiting for the right moment. Jocelyn, likewise, remains under cover.

Val swings her axe at her opponent, scoring a slight cut. It's not much, but it is enough to disrupt the woman's concentration and ruin her spellcasting. Dalaim moves in, stepping over the redead zombie, and swings his staff at her, thwacking her pretty hard. Crying out, she blindly fumbles around in her satchel trying to find something.

Meanwhile, the male exchanges blows with the zombie, but neither can find the advantage. Ouragana drags Maua forward to get close enough to use a cantrip. She is forced to let go of the woman to do so, but as she's all tied up, there's not much danger of her going anywhere. Concentrating, the mage shines a little light into the man's eyes to distract him. This puts her close to the action, but she must be within ten feet and maintain her concentration or else the light will fade away.

Oren swings his axe twice at the tribal, but neither chop is strong enough to pierce through his magical hide. The dwarf swears and spits out of frustration.

Jocelyn pulls out her sling, takes aim at the male, and fires a stone.

Ouragana continues to distract the male tribal.

Cursing, Val swings again.

While Ouragana continues shining a light in the male tribal's face, Grey gets impatient and moves in, both daggers at the ready. He strikes with both in quick succession. The first simply bounces off the barkskin, while the second is so jarring he actually drops the dagger entirely. "Oh, you gotta be kidding me!" he complains, drawing another one.

Ignoring the gnome, the male tribal strikes at the zombie with his staff, caving in its head even further. At this rate, the zombie won't last much longer and Dalaim will be resigned to carry his own gear.

Jocelyn darts across the room to another column for a better vantage point, then fires a stone from her sling. It bounces off the man's barkskin without so much as a bruise. Val and Dalaim both attack the female, but despite being blind as a bat, she still manages to ward off their blows thanks to her barkskin. She pulls out a waterskin from her satchel, downs it, and many of her wounds instantly heal. She remains blind, though, her eyes glowing brightly from Jocelyn's prayer.

Oren and the zombie both attack the male, managing to hit hard enough to bypass the barkskin and hurt him considerably. On his last legs, he begins digging in his satchel for something while the female readies her staff to continue battle.

(OOC: Wow, this battle is dragging. I think that was the first time Oren actually hit something in five rounds of combat. That Barkskin makes all the difference, eh? Actions and Initiative for Round 6?)

"Oh I have had enough of this." Arei mutters, appearing from the shadows she strikes at the female tribal with her sabre, the black steel flashing as she strikes.
