Nice one :)
I've finally got my criminal records check back today so I can start working again. A cheekily long summer holiday has been good, but a salary will be nicer.

What Jaded didn't mention was that we both got all sorts of tore up on the fair rides. I still feel the pain from one of the roller coasters that we got on.

Back to the mutant snapdragons: this is the most ferocious-looking flower I got so far.

for comparison: the normal flower looks like this:

Unlike the shows on television, this shows what usually happens most nights at the station.

And occasionally on the days.

Watching the mists roll in to obscure all sight I couldn't help but ponder, "Does this feel like Ravenloft Season?"

I spent a few seconds looking for the like button.

I found something neat.

This website lets you punch in two heights and then shows you an image to compare them. If you ever wondered how much taller or shorter someone is, this is a great way to see. Put in your character's height with another PC's height and see if you come up to their waist or tower over them. Should you look up or down when speaking to them? Just what could you reach with your long sword if you were fighting a 16' hill giant?

I thought it was neat. I know that someone who is 6'1" is taller than someone who is 4'9", but it really helps to see an image that shows me a visual that depicts just what that difference looks like when they stand side by side.

We have folks from across the US, Canada and Europe here. So most of us haven't met each other.

I do personally know Horizon, though, and we've been friends IRL for over 10 years and both live in the state of Washington. Originally, though, I'm from Mississippi.

I have e-mail and chat contact with some people around here. I seem to be the only German active here, so face-to-face contact is difficult.
I have met up with someone from here IRL last summer, but he has abandoned playing due to lack of time, so that doesn't count.
