[Ooc] The cavern is dark. There is a little natural light spillong in up at the entrance, but it is getting dark outside as well (top end of the map) [/ooc]

Katten keeps Dran close, her arrows trained on the two creatures, waiting to see what the others do..she had no issue with the light, none at all.

Bull nocks and arrow and moves up behind the little people in the group.. Stretching his bow to max draw and aiming at the goblins at the far end of the hall.

"Once I get in their sight, let loose." He will wait for the stealthers to get into position.

Bullock moves up behind Fin and Jordek and Dran moves to join Katten while Nocturno prays to Corellion for Divine Aid. Everyone is in position as Nocturno begins his attempt to creep forward quietly. To the party nearby, every scrape of boots on stone or clinking of gear seems to echo like a ringing bell. The tension mounts as the fighter-priest nears the corner. The goblins don't seem to have noticed yet, but will likely spot the party imminently...

[ok, looks like we have a consensus. let's get some attack rolls!]
====
Nocturno Casts Aid on himself
Aid [1d8]=8
(+1 to attack rolls and saving throws)

Are we doing combat initiative, or round initiative?
=================================================
Nocturno will rush the gong once he feels like he can't be hidden any longer.
Int(13): [1d20]=13
Longsword(16): [1d20]=17 [1d8+3]=2+3=5

(I accidently rolled my Longsword vs Large there, so disregard that. He will prioritize getting to the gong, then waiting to attack if none are in reach.)

[The party has a surprise round, so stuff will happen in the order posted unless specified otherwise. Once the round is over the typical combat initiative will take over]

Nocturno turns the corner, rushing towards the Orc nearest the alarm gong. Wordlessly he cuts the creature down, the others staring, utterly stunned! An instant later a hail of arrows fly from the Minotaur, Ranger and Drow, cutting down all but one of the goblins and badly wounding the second orc who cries out in shock and pain!

Nocturno's primary concern is to protect the Gong, moving defensively around it.
Attacking if an opportunity arises, but he will make sure to be between any live foe, and the gong.

Initiative: [1d10]=4
Longsword(16): [1d20]=4 [1d8+3]=6+3=9

Katten loosens another arrow and follows.it with another if needed to end the creature. Sadly she barely clips it with one and misses with the other.

Long Bow (Thaco 16) [1d20]=3 dmg [1d6]=1

Long Bow (Thaco 16) [1d20]=2 dmg [1d6]=5
