Following the others Vee can hear Brax naming her 'little one'.
"the one who is mean is YOU! I think I've told you not to call me little one. I have a name." she say loudly, but she don't seem to be very angry in some strange way she has accept this name. she has always been the little, why should it be better here?
Vee sighs andwalks thowards to the desk and looks atthe central drawer. "why should anybody who search anything not have a picklock? with a knife nobody can open locks." she mutters.

"It is simply a sign of affection." Brax responds in a off hand way. "I have been called far worse."
Looking at the lock she shrugs. "They needed to get in, probably in a hurry. Looters are often unskilled."

Searos is snapped out of his reverie by the screaming of little one this and that. He then peaks his head around the corner to look at Brax.
"Hey, bright eyes, what else have you been called? I'm always looking for new material."

"I believe you have enough material without my help." Brax says with a serious glance, then she looks at the desk.
Kim can find a number of bills for alchemy supplies, potions, and a number orders for ironmongery, including. "..Two Number sets extra strong manacles..." Other than that she can't find anything more interesting.

Kim examines the papers more closely. Perhaps these bills were just a cover - or re-used to make magical notes?
Kim casts a "read magic" cantrip.

Kim sees no magical writing on the papers, however standing the mage is greeted with a sudden suprise.
The walls and ceiling are covered in writing, the words glow brightly.
"..Beware the gift.. Haunted in the light.."

"How strange" Kim mutters, then speaks aloud. "The walls here are covered in magical writing. It says: »Beware the gift« and »haunted in the light«
Do any of you have an idea what that might mean?"

"No idea," Amon admits. "No more than 'beyond the skeletons.' What a strange place this is turning out to be."

Searos shrugs as he picks his nails with a dagger.
"Maybe it means to beware the gift of immortality, that the place is only haunted under moonlight, and that there's a treasure room beyond the skelatons."
He stops suddenly and snaps his head up, his eyes absolutely wide with excitement.
"Gods, do you think there's a treasure room!??! If there is, lets go find these skelatons. Oh please oh please oh please."

"Oh, we'll certainly go find the skeletons. But first, I think we have something here where your expertise is needed." Kim says and points to the locked desk drawer.

"I fear the only treasure we will find is the answer to this riddle." Brax mumbles.
"What a mess!" Gunter comments entering the room, "Someone was looking for something, that's for sure." He leans over, checking the floor a moment. "You know the floor is covered in footprints, olldddd footprints as far as I can tell."
(Occ: Gunter passes a tracking check, Btw all the floors are tiled.)

"As far as I know," Echo says as she enters into the other room. "No one else has been in this house, so it is quite possible that whoever use to live here tore this place apart looking for something. I am surprised anyone can see old footprints under all the dust."

Gunter smiles to himself...
"Well, I guess years in the woods tracking dinner can have that effect...."
Does Gunter recognize the tracks at all?
