Without really thinking it through, Jerrard immediately launches into a spell and casts Web, centered on Dara. It instantly branches out, completely covering the possessed elf and kender, but also Babushka and Imani, too! Luckily, Babushka is able to roll aside at the last second, escaping before the web ensnares her. Unfortunately, Locky does the same thing.

Ulster moves quickly, slicing at the nearest elf with his rusty long sword. Locky comes up to his side, stabbing at him with her hoopak. "Foolish, lackey! I shall smite you!" she declares, before promptly tripping over her own robe and landing face first in the dirt.

"What the Abyss is this all about?" Ulster demands, ignoring the kender and focusing his attention on the undead elf.

Jeremy moves aside, as the webbing is blocking his view, and he notes the elves are slowly coming forward. Nocking an arrow, he fires at one, catching it in the chest. This doesn't even cause it to slow down any, however.

Dara screams and begins tearing through the webbing with a supernatural strength. However, it's thick enough that it should keep her occupied at least for a few minutes, at any rate. Imani finds she can walk through the webbing as if it were only mist. The ring she wears gives her total freedom of movement, not just underwater, but here, too.

Babushka, like the woodsman, is forced to move around the webbing to get a clear line of sight. She fires her bow, and strikes the elf fighting Ulster. The elf in question swings at Ulster, but he easily blocks with his shield. Thuskar then comes up and finishes it off, decapitating it with one clean blow. The headless body collapses as their feet.

Fikod fires his crossbow at Dara, but his aim is way off, and even so, it gets caught in Jerrard's webbing and just sticks there.

(OOC: Unfortunately, because of Jerrard's webbing spell blocking her line of fire, Babushka had to move 30 feet in order to attack, thus negating her second arrow. Although it would have missed anyway.

Also, sadly, even with a better roll, Fikod's shot would have missed due to all of the webbing.

Jerrard rushes up on the possessed kender and strikes her on the back of the head with his blade. "I am sorry." He says softly.

Babushka shoots two arrows at undead elf #2, hoping that in case of a miss the arrow might hurt #3 or #4 instead.

Ulster and Thuskar move further south to stop the elves from overwhelming the party. Thuskar is able to disarm his opponent by knocking its sword aside, but Ulster is ganged up by three of them. Luckily, his armor keeps them from doing him any harm.

"I'm sorry," Jerrard says softly, striking at Locky with the flat of his blade. But she easily rolls aside and comes up on her feet gracefully. Standing, she turns toward him with a vicious look in her completely white eyes.

"You think you can hurt me with that pitiful weapon? You think you are a warrior, but you are not! That's why you gave up and became a wizard, right?" She laughs evilly at him, a strange thing to hear from a kender.

Imani strikes at Dara, but the blow doesn't even seem to phase the elf. It's as if she can no longer feel pain. She just continues breaking through the webbing. "Even if you kill this body, human, I shall live on!" she states, unconcerned with her wound.

Meanwhile, Jeremy, Fikod and Babushka fire their weapons at the dead elves, but are unable to do much damage.

"That's nice to know," Imani says in a dead pan voice as she moves in to knock Dara out with the flat of her magical blade at first, but she switches it back up to her normal fighting style afterwards.

"Imani!" Shouts Fikod from his hiding spot, "Methinks there be something posessin' these two, best not to kill either." He silently adds a thanks to Reorx for sending his poisoned bolt astray.

Afraid to hurt Ulster when continuing to fire at the group, Babushka drops her bow. She draws her longtooth and fine daggers and jogs to join that group, attacking #2 (no charging). Passing Jerrard and Locky, she suggests: "Throw yourself on her, you're taller than she is!"

"Possesed?" Jerrard shouts, "How..?" He adds trying to ignore the verbal attack.

Upon hearing Babuskha he throws himself on the kender, pulling her down as best he can. (Don't tell me, attack roll?)

Imani lashes out once, twice then three times with her scimitars--but only on the first strike does she use the flat of the blade in an attempt to knock the kirath out. All three strikes hit, as Dara can do little to dodge while stuck in the webbing--and yet, even this thrashing does not take her down. She continues fighting through the webbing, beginning to make some ground. Although it will still be another few minutes before she breaks through entirely. "Cowardly woman," Dara says in an unnatural voice. "Running off to play in the forest while leaving your son to rot!" She laughs evilly.

Babushka and Jeremy team up, with the gnome striking at one of the elves fighting Ulster and the woodsman shooting over her head. However, neither of his arrows hit their mark, and only one of Babushka's weapons strikes. Still, it's enough to get the creature's attention, when turns its sights toward Babushka.

Jerrard, meanwhile, attempts to body slam Locky to the ground, pinning her. He nearly has her, but the damned kender is too nimble. She rolls out of the way just in time. Laughing evilly, she takes a potion out of her pouch and drinks it down like a shot of whiskey. "What an agile body!" she says in an unnatural voice. "It shall serve me well!"

Fikod fires again, but his bolt once more flies astray. Ulster and Thuskar continue keeping the undead elves at bay, and each manage to successfully cut down one a piece.

Fikod lets out a deep breath through his nose, puffing his mustaches into motion. His eyes narrow in concentration as he sets his sights on the 2nd elf, leveling the rewound crossbow on his free arm. Some niggling sense in the back of his mind jerks his arm at the last moment while his finger squeezes the release. The bolt darts through the air straight for Babushka's back, but she spins just in time for the shot to miss her and slam into the creature's chest.
