Esse stands still. Seeing the look in his eyes she keeps calm, she's seen this rage before.. The same look in his eyes when she tied him up last.. Man if was angry then.
"Hey, its me.. Whipbunny.. Stay calm, they are gone."
She'll keep her weapon at her side, ready to parry any blow.

"Oi! Bjarg! Watch this!" Martin shouts. Once he has Bjarg's attention, he 'appears' a 3" crystal ball in his hand, seemingly out of nowhere (sleight of hand, really. No magic involved at all, save for stage magic), and begins rolling it around. It's something to distract the man while he continues to speak.
"You know, Bjarg, friendly fire isn't. Friendly, that is. So perhaps you might lower that club."
"No matter where you go, there you are."

The shining object catches Bjarg's attention, allowing him to divert his attention to another target. As he advances on Martin, the Fool's words wash over him like cold water, making him more confused than angry. Pausing in mid-stride, Bjarg stares vacantly for a moment and says "Friendly fire?"

Confident that his efforts are having the desired effect, Martin drops the crystal ball back into his pouch and comes back out with a paintbrush, which he uses to stroke Bjarg under the chin. "I had a friend once, used to get crazy when he smelled wild hyacinth. This always did the trick with him..."

Esse smiles, so the Jester has even more uses huh? She sheaves her weapon and turns to the fallen bodies of the Rutterkin.

Letting her face hide behind her hair she covers up her emotions, back turned the Barbarian can't see her sigh gently.

"So, stop fuming and lets check these guys, I wonder what Demons from the Pit carry???"

Bjarg sneezes, glares at Martin, and then bats the paintbrush away. "Damned fool...." he mutters to himself before he turns and starts to walk toward the bodies. Looking down at the corpses he gives one a swift kick.

"You'll find I'm full of surprises," Martin says, quietly. "As to our demonic friends, I am afraid we won't find much. Despite their being all dead, they lack pockets to look through for loose change.
"I suppose we could look through the room they came out of, though. I'd really like to know why they were moving so slowly."

*With death, the body has a tendency to expel from its orifices. In other words, from anal cavities, the Rutterkin deliver excrement with shiny objects: 2 platinum pieces, 3 gold pieces, 3 medium sized diamonds, and a brass broach. The broach is oval with a fine filagree design surrounding it, its center is a solid background with 5 interlocking circles etched onto the face of it.*

[OOC] I think the word we're looking for is 'eeewwww.' [/OOC]

"You know, I've always hear about it, but you never actually see one. That, my friends, is what you call a shite-load of treasure," says Martin, looking at the mess before him. "Actually, I've always wondered what half a shite-load would be. But nevermind."

He turns to Ayagnox, looking up at him from chest-height: "Hey, big guy, tell you what: if you gather up all that stuff, the coins, the brass thingy, and the three rocks, and wash the custard off, and put the stuff in this bag, then you can keep the gold coins. Won't that be nice? Three pieces of gold, all for you, and you can buy whatever you want with it back in town.
"But you'd better hurry, before Unibrow over there tries to get it."

[OOC] This is a Fast-Talking NWP attempt. I've posted the relevant info in the Brainstorming thread for convenience. [/OOC]

Esse cringes and ignores the "treasure" shes enough of a Lady to find the idea of taking things from a creatures behind.

"Ewww" she mutters, returning to the room the creatures left, she'll search for both traps and any other doorways.

"So, where to next?" She'll ask anyone in particular.
" Kid never learned to clear a room. Doors and corners, I told him. Doors and corners."

As everyone stands around staring at each other in response to Martin's suggestion, Bjarg says very calmy, "Dibs on the Brooch, the one I have is rather shitty." :D

(OOC - Stik, I rolled an 11, so either way, Ayag is in deep poop patrol.)

*Ayag becomes mesmerized by Martin's fast talking, gathers up the poop encrusted items, but sees no available water for washing. He walks into one of the corners of the room and begins to pee on the treasure. He pockets the gold coins, tosses the broach at Bjarg, and offers the remainder to Martin.*

*There is a door on the western wall, a second door is 30' down the northern wall. The door on the western wall is made of iron; there is a large circular wheel upon an iron bar, the ends pertruding into iron brackets embedded on either side of the door frame. The northern door is made of wood with simple iron hinges and latch style door handle. Esse detects the northern door to be untrapped and unlocked; however, the western door is trapped.*

(OOC to Jenara - in case you forgot, there was still a northern door in the snake room which you had previously detected as unlocked and untrapped, so there are 3 doors to choose from)

"There ya go rainbow boy, hope you appreciate all of my efforts in cleaning them for you." And with that he pockets the coins and sheathes his sword. "So now what? I'm supposed to be finding this guy Rainman or something and I have no idea which way to go..."

Beillion inspects the others and avoids the poo with gold in it. He ponders burning a bit of magic at this point. If there are people hurt, the treasure can wait. While inspecting people, he asks. "So, which door do we open?"

Sim gags at the sight of dirty money and if offered holds his hand up in a getsure of distaste. "No, no better left to more anal retentive individuals. It's probably cursed anyway." With that he turns to the rest of the party or no one inparticular and says.

"Before we go skipping off down the corridors after lolipops and fruity flies I would like a period of rest so as to regain my faculties and aquire some mental wit. I have no spells left and we would fare much better once my arsenal is re-established. merely 30 minutes or so is all I require."
