Brax returns from Lintons in a quiet mood. She nods to the others and goes to bed.

(Back on Monday.)

Vee will take the second night watch if Geraldine will wake her up again

As they are no other volunteers for the second night watch, Geraldine and Vee get up again after a short sleep and take that watch, too.

The night passes without further incident and the next morning, the first person to appear in the inn's common room for breakfast will be handed a sealed note by Tel the innkeeper. "Geraldine Petterson asked me to give that to your group" he explains.

(Brax went to bed [for a reason, I didn't know how much I could post] before anyone could have talked to her, of course if someone would have woken her up...)

She will rise early and walk down to the common room, dressed in her armor and a pair of breeches, she takes the letter with a smile and her thanks.

Gunter wakes up early to do some exercises and a little archery practice in the woodsy area near town.

He comes back to the inn and sees Brax sitting at a table. He goes over to the bar, orders some food and water from Tel and sits himself down at Brax's table.

"Good morning sunshine! So how'd it go last night?"

He gives her a wink.

The message reads:

"Miss Veeleyana and I having taken two watches last night, we will be available for a briefing and exchange of news only after lunch"

Brax reads the paper with interest, before turning to Gunter.

"It appears Mistress Vee and Constable Petterson will not be joining us till after lunch." She shrugs, "I would have helped if someone would have awoken me."

"It would appear that strong Women are not to Master Lintons taste, and I doubt he is to blame, there was a suggestion over our friend Eret, which might be worth a look." She comments to Gunter.

When he comes down for breakfast the next morning, Amon is told that Daos has sent a message telling him he is expected in his master's house after breakfast. Echo is already there, of course, and her father tells her to come to his study with Amon once he arrives.

Searos comes down the steps, looking a little less hungover this time, scratching himself through his tunic.

"Hey kids, how are we doing this fine..." Searos glances out the window "Late morning?"

"Late morning for some of you, I have been up for some time." Picking at a small breakfast she raises her head to Searos, "Did you find anything?"

Searos spears something tasty off of Brax's plate with his dagger and starts to munch on it while also borrowing Gunter's water. He seems rather surprised and non-plussed that the water is actually water.

"Well, I think I know where the smugglers are coming from and going to. I also found out that kids these days are marrying younger than ever. That reminds me, if we're here for the wedding, make sure I buy the budding couple a good luck charm of some kind. Lad seems rather taken with the whole idea of "luck.""

Amon wakes from troubling dreams, but can't seem to remember any of them. Just that they were troubling.

After receiving his master's message, he dutifully returns. Looks like his brief holiday had come to an end, and it was time to hit the books again.
