Imani continues to watch the outskirts of the area, searching for the others that might be nearby.

Babushka, too, is ready to shoot at anyone coming near.

Jerrard casts his spell, and webbing springs up, attached to both the ground and the grotesque statue of Takhisis. However, only one bozak is trapped in it; the other three manage to avoid being ensnared. They at once stop their chanting and turn toward the party, having clearly expected them.

Eight more bozaks burst into the clearing from their hiding spots, as well.

"Remember," says one, "the masters want them alive, if possible!"

"And why are we wanted alive?" Imani asks as she steps from where she was hiding into the open. She doesn't make a move to attack just yet.

Seeing the draconians coming out, Babushka had planned to shoot at # 12, but with Imani stepping forward, that is too dangerous, so she shoots at #1, but she misses entirely (I don't think they have only AC 9).
