Or sneeze... The shockwave will probably kill him...
Umm, can I grab a maul from that last room on the way out? Was planning on that. Also, of there is any obviously goblin-sized chainmail...

Yeah, you can grab the maul. None of the armor would fit a goblin, though.

K, thanks. I figure since we can't buy stuff in town anymore due to the army (or at least very difficult...)

I added it to his inventory. Careful, though; he's now only a few pounds away from hitting moderate encumbrance.

The buddy cops have done it again!

You just need an appropriate theme song. I suggest:
This one.

This one could also work.

So, uh, it has been like a week. Are we any closer to moving on to the next chapter?

No, not really.
I'm really sorry about the delays. You have Chris have been quite patient, but I have to admit I've let this chapter spiral a bit out of control. I meant to end it over a week ago, but after having been accused of railroading once already, I was reluctant to make any attempt to move things along.
I will try and speed up time faster, if possible. After all, the party is moving very slowly through a large city, searching. They are going to be stopped by every patrol, every checkpoint, to see their papers and permits. So it makes sense that their search will be very time consuming. This way, if they haven't found their quarry by dawn, I can just end the chapter there and have the next one pick up right there.
In the meantime, the only other thing I can think of is to go ahead and start the new chapter with just you and Chris. It'd be something of a temporal paradox and you wouldn't be able to seek out any other PCs until they finish the old chapter. But at least that way you two could continue playing. What do you think?

Always keen to meet someone on the lookout to recruit a scout. Or someone that happens to ask if anyone has seen a gnome.
As long as the dwarf has had a decent sleep, he doesnt care what the time is.

The nearly skint (or so he professes) dwarf will be decamping to the other inn (the grotty one) about mid-morning.
=========
I will fir in with whatever. But the 'other' dwarf (NPC) needs a good slap. Obnoxious goat that she is.
Up to you, HD..

I suppose I can't speak for the other players, but here's my opinion. If there's little-to-no chance of the group finding the women soon, I'm fine with you saying "you don't find them and the guards force you to go home under threat of imprisonment if you don't" or something. It seems like a reasonable abuse-of-power-kind-of-thing for the goblin guards to do, so it'd make sense in game as well as out of game. If that's railroading, so be it. It's your game, and you should run it how you want to.
Again, this is just my opinion. Maybe the others feel differently, but I'm fine with ending the scene if that's what you feel is best.

I'm good with that (djhyland's above proposal) too
Grubnick would want the church alerted about Belzor tonight, though. He'd rather ensure the false-god is wipes out by them than risk letting him get away tonight...

I would accept that as a reasonable conclusion to the day.
