"I'm all for taking a break, myself. All this smiling makes my face ache." says Martin. "And a bit of assistance from the holy man, once he is able to render such, would not be unwelcome.
That said, Martin considers his "treasure." Human waste is vastly superior to that of demons, but that does not make it at all pleasant. He'll take a moment to rinse the coins and diamonds with water from his waterskin before packing them away.

Esse pauses, "You want to rest here? Perhaps we would be safer in the Room before the snakes, just for now..."
She looks at the extrement on the floor. "It would be safer, and Ag or whatever your name is, I have water, you could have asked.."

"Sim, we need you rested, just think somewhere a little safer is a good idea, besides we need to eat. What do you think?" Not waiting for an answer she considers the doors, while the rest of the party consider her idea.

"So we have three doors. The one in the Gallery, with the horrible snakes, its ok, but..." She shivers.
"The wheel door seems to be trapped, the other doors are fine. There appears to be a needle in it, you know the usual poison...."

"Hey." She smiles at Bjarg, still taken back by his reaction to her show of affection, "You got got any food?"

(OOC by LWW- you have the doors mixed up, the wheel door is trapped, not the northern door, in either room. As to the trap itself, you detect a small hole within the door holding a needle; the door must be turned correctly to avoid being struck by the needle; which is poisonous.)

[OOC] Ok, fixed, thanks [/ooc]

"Yeah, I do, and No, you can't have any." He says gruffly, not taking his eyes off the brooch. He sighs with frustration, wipes the brooch clean on the edge of his cloak, and stuffs it in his belt pouch.

Esse Shrugs, gives up on what she was going to say and walks over to the door back to the Gallery.

"So, shall we rest?" Beillion asks them as he moves to inspect Martin once the man is done with the coins. He stays near Martin, however.

"I don't see why we shouldn't rest. A giant snake and a trio o' giants has worn me out a bit! Maybe we should make camp at the top of the stairs? The top of a landing is easier to defend. We'll be closer to the exit that way too."

"The Stairs will be fine." Heading in the direction of the stairs she sits at the top, pulling her cloak from off her shoulders she lays it on the ground, produces a waterskin and some rations.

She sits with her back Bjarg, and eats the food in silence nibbling a bit at a time.

Beillion says as they move out and make camp. "Patrols and security?"

Esse turns her head slowly, "I will take first watch. Alone." She keeps her eyes averted from Bjarg.

"Rest, heal, this place is dangerous." Her face is dark, ignoring Bjarg.

"Right." Beillion says and inspects the wounds of people. He goes from party member to party member looking at wounds to see which ones are the worst.

Esse not injured, sits at the top of the stairs and eats her meal while watching with her keen elven vision, bow drawn to attack anyone who crosses her path.

Otherwise she will sit uncharacteristically quiet without saying much, hand on her bow, the other holds a single arrow. Her face looks thoughtful and concerned, she almost looks like a little lost child.

Martin "sits" nearby Esse, although in his case "sits" is not a terribly accurate term, since he's sitting without a seat, merely leaning against the wall, legs bent as if there were a seat there. He himself has brought out a bow, although is his case it is a puny affair, made of cheap wood with a piece of butcher's twine for a string, and the arrow he fidgets with has a suction cup at the business end.
Like any true follower of his art, he studies people, and in this case he is using that knowledge, along with his acting talents, to ape Esse's movements and mannerisms, exaggerating them at times for comedic effect.

Bjarg chews over a piece of dried venison and a swig of water as he watches Martin. A smile creeps across his face, growing wider as the jester's actions become more and more exaggerated. Eventually he can't restrain himself any longer and he bursts out laughing in a booming guffaw!

Seeing Martins movements, she purposely exaggerates her own, making them more comedic when she can, instead of being the butt of Martins joke she actively participates.

When Bjarg starts to laugh she joins him, shoving up to the big warrior with a smirk, her mood forgotten.
"Wanna watch with me?" She places her hand on his leg, laying the arrow on the floor.

"Sure, though I think I may need use of a bow." Bjarg's comment was made more towards Martin, hoping the fool will give him use of his amusing weapon.
