This is the end of the fifth chapter. Five more to go in this module!

As usual, I take a moment to ask for any feedback from the players. Is everyone enjoying themselves? Having fun?

As I mentioned before, none of chapter five appeared in the books. And true enough, it holds little narrative value. But it was important, I think, to the game because it introduces us to a third type of draconian--the kapaks. It also shows us the destruction of Que-Kiri, showing that the dragonarmies are spreading.

The module makes no mention of what happens if a kapak is captured or questioned (indicating they are supposed to fight to the death), so I did all of that on my own. So we also learned that Qualinost is the last free land in Abanansinia, at least if what the kapak said was true.

I will start work on chapter six now.

Little by little, I'm getting a feel for who Goldmoon is, and as the character gets flesh and bone, the fun is coming.

A little announcement:

HorizonsDream has decided to abandon Sunstar in favor of Tika. She will now be taking full control of Tika, and Sunstar will become an NPC again.

I kind of assumed that would be the case! Tika is kind of fun to play.

I just heard from Tillis and it seems he is having some domestic problems, promises to be back when he can.

FYI, heading out of town for the weekend, across state to a high school state basketball tournament, back on Sunday.

Feel free to NPC Riverwind. Looks as it we will need to dispatch these guys and run.

Okay, so I was just told by Jenara that apparently mltillis has quit this game. And so, for the second time since we started, Caramon again becomes an NPC under my control.

Irritating....

Not in the mood to post anymore tonight, and hubby is sleeping....

Irritating, agreed. But naught we can do about it.

This party is getting rather unwieldy, though. Six NPCs is a lot for me to juggle at once.

I'm going to make some tweaks in chapter 8 that will allow me to temporarily split up the group. Until then, I'm practically running my own sub-party of NPCs.

Well, I will volunteer to take another. If there is one that is important to the story line, let me know, otherwise....I would prefer Raistlin

Thanks for the offer, but I prefer keeping one character per player, outside of the occasional low-level henchmen, of course.

This seems like a "You are captured moment." which we have no real choice but to go along with... I guess Tas does whatever the GM wants at this point. I was going to have Tas sneak off, but if it is not the script.... *shrug* I am not sure what to have him do at this point if I am honest.

Its weird, one of those moments that are almost pivotal to the story, yet you hope there is a way round it...
