"Was this just a tomb?" Goldmoon frowns at Tika's remark. "Does anyone know what Pax Tharkas was designed for?"

"Indeed, that is impressive, like Riverwind says, its like you have been here before." Sturm says walking through the hidden door, why build a door like that? Of course this was a secret way, you wouldn't make it obvious.

"Pax Tharkas was built as a Symbol of Peace, .its very name means 'Citadel of Peace'. It was built by the Elves, Dwarves and Humans of Ergoth following the Kinslayer Wars. Kith-Kanan who's sword you carry Tika, signed a treaty called the Sword Sheaf Scroll, and founded this very fortress, it was supposed to be a trade route..." She sighs, lowering her head.

"That ended with the Cataclysm. We elves left Pax Tharkas to the dwarves and withdrew into the forests of Qualinesti, blaming everyone else for the disappearance of the gods. The dwarves remained guarding the mountain pass into their realm." She continues as she walks on in the middle, her bow still at the ready.

The long corridor twists and turns a few times as the party walks through. After several minutes, they finally come across another single, plain bronze door.

"I think we're on the right track," Eben notes. "We're heading in the right direction, at any rate."

"Yes we appear to be going the right way." Sturm rubs his arm and leg, the fall had hurt his pride as well. "Perhaps someone should check this door?" He asks, he was already cautious.

"Me check." Magpie chirps up, she had been quiet and sullen for a few moments. Searching the floor she nods and mumbles to herself before putting her ear to the door she shrugs. "Me hear nothing."

"Well, at least it is a plain door again, that is a good sign." Riverwind checks the ground again for any indication of lines in the dust that might indicate problems with the floor.
