She'll check the stranger and the house for magic.

{OOC2: Am thinking Hansel & Gretal. Or, maybe, Little Red RIding Hood.}

It does seem almost too-perfect, but not beyond the realm of physically possible... then again, we are playing a fantasy game :lol: You have to be the one to decide if she's casting or not.

Jerry casts DM. I've edited up my previous post in the main thread.

There is indeed a path down the middle and the trees and bushes create a two-level effect

Spyguy - We got on the road after picking up all of our stuff.

We met Maria who was clutching at the grave of her son on the roadside. We then escorted her back to her house. Which is where we are now.

SpyGuy:
Nocturno summed it up pretty well. The party also met another outlander on the road: Adran, an Elven man with robes, a longsword and longbow. He claims to be from the same world as Artanis and Jerry.

Chris1234 wrote:{OOC: Jerry is looking at Maria and then the house. (Started the spell a number of posts ago, triggered by the sight of the house. She's bright enough ro figure out the distance versus time, methinks.)}
Round 1 of detection: Jerry walks within 60' of the house before Maria makes it all of the way to the door. Neither the house nor Maria are detected as magical
3 rounds remaining

She looks around to anything vaguely interesting on the left while walking up to and into the house.
(Presumably detecting on Maria included anything she was wearing that's visible from that angle?)

Maria and all of her possessions in-view were in range. If something was in someone's pouch it might not be seen. Other objects of interest are the Barn and the Shed (opposite directions, each reachable in less than 1 round). Jerry could walk arouns the house if she liked

The bard doesn't have anything magical.

Jerry turns and looks back northwest. The Shed does not detect as magical.
