[ooc]Sorry, Order like you said, was reacting to Bjarg! Its obvious that Bjarg isn't going to stop, so...
Esse - Bjarg
Belion
Martin
She'll search for traps as she walks alongside him.[/ooc]

Esse Walks forward slowly checking the Floor and walls.
[ooc]At 10' / Round thats about a minute[/ooc]
"Not too long, I don't trust this place one bit, staying Alive is far more important than time, don't you think?"

Bjarg slinks down the hallway, holding his shield in front of him. He is staying, at least, 10' apart from Esse.

(Edit by LWW - "glanced at door" - what door?; there's no door. How the heck did Bjarg do 80' of hallway in one round? Slinking, that means you're moving as slow as Esse.)

*Barging ahead of Esse, Bjarg's movement becomes noticed by the living plants within the ceiling of the 20' tiled floor area. Vines descend rapidly upon Bjarg and Esse; the leaves nipping at any exposed flesh while the vines try to ensnare the two. They are carnivorous plants, and the more they are allowed to feed, the stronger they become. If they manage to entwine themselves around a victim, he/she would be eaten alive. (think piranha fish, but in plant form)

*The vines do not try to reach through the doorway towards Beillion; they seem confined to the 20' area.*

Esse glances Angrily at the Barbarian. "Nice one

"Nice one, So Now What do you want to do now? I suggest fire, Flaming arrows and move back"

[ooc]Like I said her plans are pretty basic, I assume seeing branches come down from the ceiling suprised her? [/ooc]

(OOC by LWW - yes)

As Bjarg is 10' away from her she'll start slicing at any branches that get too close.

The only part of her body is actually exposed is her face, so she'll keep the weapon high and protect as best she can.

Not far from Bjarg, B draws his own weapon and calls out. "Waiting!" He waits to place himself into the best position pending their move. He is not going to block the fighters. So, he waits to move until Bjarg acts. "I will take the rear guard to heal!"

"Feed me, Seymour..." Martin mutters, looking up at the plants. "Everybody, back out of the room. No point in serving ourselves up as horse doovers. We'll do a little slash-and-burn, toast this thing and be on our way."

*Esse's slashing keeps the vines off her, but whatever falls to the ground immediately decomposes, making the flooring even more slippery*

(OOC - please roll dexterity check)

*Beillion and Martin's shouts attract the attention of the vines, but they only slap at their side of the door frame; once again showing that they cannot leave the 20' area.*

[ooc]dex check 9[/ooc]

Esse backs off, still fighting the branches till she reaches the doorway. She pauses for a second to see Bjarg, shakes her head and keeps stepping backwards.

Bjarg does his best to defend himself from the vines as he slowly backs away.

(OOC: I was looking at the map segment posted. I think I may have been reading it wrong. I thought we were going from the bottom part [the blue area] and traveling northward. Is that not a door to the left and a hallway to the right?)

(OOC by LWW - the maps are a rough guide; in my initial post, I stated that it was an archway on the left, and that the hallway made a right turn. No where did I state there was a door.)

"Right, where do we go from here?" Bei asks the group. He inspects Bjarg for visible sounds as he asks the question.

*Esse is able to successfully run across the slimy tiles, without falling, and return to the snake room, with Bjarg right behind her. Their exposed skin, where the plants nipped at them, is minimally damaged (take 1 HP damage for each of you), but the bite marks itch.(think paper cuts)*

(OOC - this was the only danger for this hallway; after the plants are dealt with, it is smooth walking to the archway, or the right turn of the hallway.)

Esse scratches the cuts quickly "Think the damn things are poisoned, worse than the snakes" She looks to Beilion "Any thoughts?"

She'll then turn back to the doorframe, and take time to look at the ceiling, blocking Bjarg's passage with her small body.

[ooc]Right you may have already said this but how how is the ceiling? she wants to burn them out somehow[/ooc]

(OOC by LWW - lets say...10')

"Fire and aversion to getting hit." Bei jokes darkly. He looks at the hall and suggests. "I suspect we are stuck cutting them down if we don't have fire." He looks at the area around them for other materials that might provide them with another solution.

Bjarg looks at Esse and Bel for a moment and finally speaks up, "I DO have torches, you know...."

"I know silly, but how do we get the fire up there?" She bumps him gently.
