"Thank you Elias, I wad going to find you, to ask that question." "That is no Elf I have ever seen. Can you swim?" She adds quickly her eyes on the sea.

"Not really, no."

"Very well I wish to visit the spot 'he' was found, I have a feeling the site may hold clues. I suggest you stay with Fraso and this Daos, I will take our friendly cleric as he seems to have some skill with these Fishermen." She turns away, and stops. "I trust that is suitable?

"Fine by me." Elias says, smiling.

"Is good with me!" Bastian says trying to lift himself off the road.

Angel turns away and hides her smile from the Cleric, after seeing him fall down for the third time she approaches him.
"On your feet soldier!" she shouts pulling him to his feet, "we have a little boat ride to deal with!"

Bastian says with intoxicated authority, "I. Like. Boats." He accentuates this statement with a single sharp nod of his head.

Elias checks to see if there is room inside the area where the body is being kept. If there is, he steps inside to take a peak.

Elias is able to enter the short tunnel leading to the ice house, where he finds Fraso hard at work with his examination of the body. Fraso prods at the armor, at a neck chain, at the thing's ears, which he measures with a short ruler pulled from his tool bag, and with its teeth, which he measures with a caliper, also from the tool bag.
"What is your story, my friend? Who put you in the water?" he says, quietly, as if expecting an answer, although none is forthcoming.
Elias gets a clear look at the thing's face. It has an undeniable elven cast to its features, although it looks more than anything else like the boogeyman of elven folklore that his siblings used to torture him with. The empty eye sockets stare mockingly at the elf.

Angel and Bastian make their way back to the Pond tavern. The fishermen are still there, drinking and smoking. Good-natured whistles greet Angel as she enters. "Hey, Fil, your girlfriend's back" calls Capt. Jon, while members of his crew hum the wedding march, decidedly off-key and out of sync with each other.
Upon hearing Angel's request, Capt. Filaris is hesitant. "It's just a patch of seawater, little girl, nothing more. I mean, we can take you out there and back next time we go out, but there'll be nothing to see but more of the same. And you'll have to earn your keep hauling pots. There's no passengers on a fishing vessel, mind you."

Daos observes Elias when he enters, and watches his expression. "Thoughts?" he asks the elf, arms crossed.

"Reminds me of my childhood," Elias says.
"We, my brothers and sisters that is, asked, begged, or teased my mother into tell us lots of stories as kids. This reminds of one of them is all."

Daos glances to the corpse, then back to the elf. "A childhood tale, you say? Must have been a disturbing one then."

Angel blushes slightly at the attention, she takes it all with a good natured smile.
"Very well, I am not afraid of a little hard work, but I am reminded of your previous comment, what exactly would I see." She tries to keep her voice relaxed. "However, thank you, you have been most generous."
Looking at Bastian she gives the cleric a quick nudge. "Would it be possible to ask another question?" She gives her sweetest smile and puts her hands through her hair.
"Do you have any tricks to sober up my Friend here? Normally I'd use a bucket of water..." She winks.

"Childhood tales often have a kernel of truth at their heart, woodsman. Not always, but often. Of course, when they do, it usually gets so distorted over the years as to become unrecognizable," says Fraso, as he toys absently with a chain on the corpse's neck. "Like that little skipping rhyme that children sing. It's really about a plague. You see...it's...Where was I?"
The necromancer looks confused, and a bit shakey. Perhaps the lack of fresh air in the place is getting to him. It is more than a little stuffy in the chamber.

"Well, if you want to go anyway. We go out tomorrow. Be on the pier and ready to go at dawn, and you can go with us. But leave that armor at home," Captain Filaris says.
"Unless you can swim in it," says one of the other captains.
"Now, as to sobering up your friend...I believe there are several remedies we could recommend.."

Daos steps forward, his mouth becoming a thin, straight line. "Master Fraso, is something wrong?" he asks.
