Val continues to move, attacking the one on the right

"I suppose who you should bring with you depends on whether you're looking for a fight or not," Naishe responds. "If you plan to kill them all, you'll want to bring good fighters with you. Otherwise, you might want to bring more diplomatic folk."

Val and Naras (Ixitachitl Lair/Sardonx 12th, 1 PM)
The larger ixitachitl, blessed by the blood sacrifice, both move toward Val. Both bite at her, but the half-orc easily evades them both. Shin casts a spell and three bolts of pure light flash from his hands and slam into the enemy. Naras manages to hit one with her spear lightly while Cye stays behind to heal himself further. Val loses her grip on her trident in the chaos and it slowly descends to the bottom of the cavern. Serenna comes in to help the half-orc fight them both off.

Cye casts Cure Light Wounds on himself, restoring (1d8): 8 HP.

Jocelyn looks between Baeros, Brock, Gallath and Oura. "Actually," she says. "I think I want to try this peacefully, so Oura, you would be the best option," she points out.

Ah crap, Val immediately dives to regain her prized possession.

Amazed that she's actually hit something, Naras tries to stab the creature again.

"I fit for both courses of action. I'm both diplomatic and a fighter." Baeros says boldly.

"If you want me to come with you, you should tell me what exactly you want to achieve, and how" Ouragana tells the priest. "I feel at a loss on this island, I don't know the rules and customs."

"Baeros...no," Jocelyn says with a shake of her head. She focuses on Oura. "It is pretty simple really," she admits. "Most of the people here are followers of Renos, so they are out for themselves. Money or violence is the best way to get things done around here," she explains.

"so, what do you want me to do?" Ouragana asks. "Come with you, and act on what seems fit for the moment?"

Jocelyn nods. "Pretty much."

"And what do you want me to do? See you go get yourself captured and come to the rescue?" Baeros says very diplomatically.

"Are people here impressed by magic or is it commonplace?" Ouragana asks as she motions Jocelyn to go forward, she is ready.

"So in other words, the girls go and the boys can stay here?" Naishe asks. "I could live with that."

Val and Naras (Ixitachitl Lair/Sardonx 12th, 1 PM)
Val swims down to the floor and grabs hold of her trident quickly. Naras and Serenna hold off the large ixitachitl while she does so. They both manage to wound the creatures, but being bigger seems to have made them tougher, as well, as they keep coming. Both Serenna and Naras get bitten while Cye and Shin stay in the back, waiting for an opportunity.
