Axid strokes his beard pondering the stonework. “Seems like it could be a solid piece of work but still could be better if dwarves had made this place!” He notices that the infuriating halfling and Stephen are nowhere to be seen now. For a moment he considers the danger he is possibly in with the necromancer gone and minions still around. He readies his weapon just in case. He taps around on things with it testing sturdiness.

Jag looks around. not for anything in particular really.
He sighs.
"So many places like this I have been in. Im starting to wonder if I will ever gain enough treasure."

"Go peek around the corner. You like peeking... right?" Ke'Sha retaliates. Sharing Gur's magic detection Ke'Sha scans the corridor for anything radiating magic and then if Gur won't report what he sees around the corner, Ke'Sha will do.
In the meanwhile he tells the others, "If anyone slips in, we are still in danger, and the snake folks know we are here. So first maybe Jack can stick some culprits on the walls ofthe pit to let one grab it instead of... hmm... dying. Second, if you still want to stick around we need to make room for the others. If you have anymeans of crossing the pit, that's great, if not, well.. Bert can act as a bridge. Trolls just love bridges." After Jack describe what he saw, Ke'Sha says: "I'm not sure if the treasure worth it, but there is always the possibillity that one of the glyphs is hidden there. So at some point we might need to go down and check it. The undead don't need to breath, so as long as it is not acid, we can consider one less obstacle."

Stephen's talisman remains warm, even after the pit trap has been disarmed, something he knows from experience would not happen if the disarmed pit were the only mechanical or magical hazard.

Jack at first seems puzzled by the glittering surface of the gently jiggling liquid. The oddity of it moving in a still place might mean an undercurrent, or an invisible thing within... then it dawns on him as some of the gear seems suspended above the bottom. That's no pool... it's a Gellationous Cube!

Gur flaps invisibly over to the door, Jeeze. Do this Gur. Do That GUR. Oh please help me my brilliant and super-cool evil-minion of unmatched awesomeness, my pathetic flesh-bag eyeballs can't see magic on their own... the Quasit squeals in a pitched mocking tone. Pffft! Sounds like a skill issue... Despite the rambling the familiar does as he is bid and his voice calls from down the hall. Yeah, Room over here. Whole thing is magic. Opening on the opposite side just like this one.

=====

the weird part in the bottom right is just to conceal what has not been seen yet.

Grey is the Gelatinous Cube in a pit

Light Blue area is the magic

one square is 5 feet

I'm pretty sure there's still a trap nearby. If there's nothing on this side of the pit, it must be on the far side, or possibly on the other side of this wall. It could be the magic Gur is detecting.

Axid continues to observe the behaviour of the undead still in the room. ‘So far, so good’ he thinks to himself. He heads to the steps of the platform to investigate the structure for himself.

The undead back in the room with the thornslingers indeed apear to be 'dormant' for the moment; aside from Mourkol who glares at the living. The Drow Wight, dubbed 'Thallena' by her new master, paces back and forth from the other room; stalking like a hungry Leopard waiting for her prey to make just one little miss-step...

Allikhain moves into the room with Axid, examining the carvings and the space silently. Landro remains on guard, eyeing the undead suspiciously as well.

'Don't get me started on skills issue, you pathetic winged gremlin. What? You can turn into a goat! Great, we won't be missing milk I guess. Try vampire or dracolich next time.' Ke'Sha mentally spits back but his eyes glow with care for his old friend. "Well, there is no room for everyone. And the place is still trapped. We should not keep apart from the others for too long, so let's communicate the situation to them and decide if we regroup at the thornslinger room or find a way to cross the pit, let the others join and deal with the gelo cube together."

I guess that’s up to me, now?
Stephen places a hand on his dagger hilt.

<Shrike, can you open up a wormhole between here and the wall in the ‘thornslinger’ room? Let’s put one end on the east wall here, and the other on the west wall of the other room.>

After staring expectantly at the east wall for a minute, Stephen says, “Hold on, let me try that again.

A 10'x10' portal appears in the wall, opening to the 'thornslinger room'. Stephen quickly steps through.

Master Gur reports that the floor of the next room is magical. It's probably a trap. Does anyone have a means of dispelling hostile magic?

=============================================================
1st attempt: Shrike's Wormhole (Power Score 14):[1d20]=18 - Failure. Cost: 12 PSPs (49/61)
2nd attempt: Shrike's Wormhole (Power Score 14):[1d20]=14 - Power Score! Maintenance costs are halved. Cost: 24 PSPs (25/61)

What's the current time?

Jack will be the last through.

"Big ol blob in that pit. Nasty looking thing. But maybe some good items inside of it still."
