It didn't appear in your swwep up post, so I fured that waht I was doing took longer than other people's actions so mine got truncated.
And it wasn't clear to me who Ne-Chanz was talking to... thought vaguely it might have been the bloke at the bar and, if it had been directed at Shima, more likely a rebuke for listening.
Didnt seem to fit as a response to "...looking for a gnome..." so that fitted with the truncation. Hence the repeat..

I generally don't repeat PC actions, which is why I didn't put it in my post. If you tried to do too much in one round and was cut off, I'd tell you. But I generally wouldn't do that unless we were in active combat time, round by round.

I suppose spyguy can clarify who Ne-Chanz was speaking to, but as no other 'interlopers' were speaking to him, I can't imagine he was talking to anyone else.

About Takhysis being kept in he Abyss, you could argue that other godlike powers bestowed by Huma prevented her powers of being everywhere from happening. You could say being everywhere doesn't come in free for the gods but requires an effort of them and that the other gods can try to prevent it. Although it is too philosophical. There are a lot of paradoxes pointed at godlike abilities. Such if god is all powerful can he create a rock that he cannot lift? And so on. Also, gods can manipulate and travel time and this comes also with bunch of paradoxes.

In short I would say that if nothing is working against the god there is no reason he or one of his avatars would be at the same time at different places, but if other equally powerful forces are aiming against him (/her/it) then it might reduce his powers and it might be a problem for him to manifest his powers.

In any case I think that in places that are sacred to the god, the balance is tilted toward the god and against other gods so even if he is under "attack" he would still be stronger there, and if a Priest have such a special place which is important to him and his god, (which is a likely place to find folllowers, make rituals and later build a church), then there the chance of meeting the god is higher. It might not be a true avatar but some kind of a true miracle or reflection or whatever. In the old testimony AFAIK no encounter with god was in true form. In fact it is said men can not capture the true form of god (maybe women can ). Instead he was seen by his miracles or in one case as a bush on fire... In the new testimony there is of course the son and the dove which could be compared to avatars, but I'd be careful there since I'm not religious and don't want to hurt anyone by my ignorance.

D&D gods tend to be more like the Olympians or Asgardians and their ilk than the Judaeo-Christian-Islamic god, though. D&D gods are not omniscient, omnipotent or omnipresent. They do have limits to their powers. Some even have levels and stats, which means it is possible to kill them. The fact that Takhisis was defeated and banished by a mortal (even one blessed by Paladine and wielding a dragonlance) is testament to that. (And those of you who know what happens at the end of the War of Souls can probably think of an even better example of that.)

But anyway, I think most of what the gods are capable of is left intentionally vague so DMs have more wiggle room. But even if they can have the same avatar in two places at once, like I said before, I don't want to overuse Fizban, either. He's the kind of character that could grow annoying if given too much spotlight.

In any case there is Zipnav (I think, my memory about those series is very vague) from the Wheel of Time as the second avatar.

I don't remember any gods from the Wheel of Time (assuming you mean the Robert Jordan series) except vague references to 'the creator'

I think BishGada meant Zifnab from the Death Gate Cycle (which is also written by Weis and Hickman, the creators of Dragonlance). Zifnab (an anagram of Fizban) is most likely supposed to be Fizban (he even makes references to the Dragonlance series) but due to legal reasons (WotC owns Dragonlance), they had to change his name.

But I've never read Wheel of Time, so I have no idea if there is any such character like that.

Ive read WoT (apart from the final book) and don't remember Zifnab, but that's not to say he isn't there.. just he didn't make an impact in my memory

There certainly isn't any Zifnab or similar character in Wheel of Time. I'll chalk it up to BishGada accidentally putting down the wrong series name.
