Having become detached in spirit if not in body from his companions Linar checks his surroundings for threats.

Linar finds himself in a private meeting room at the Horse and Plow with Katten, Nocturno, Bullock, Fin and Even Signa nearby in discussion about their next moves. There seems to be a consensus of sorts to pursue some orcs near the rift before returning to collect some ordered goods from bordertown

Linar almost smiles, still slightly uncomfortable for the drow although it's getting better. "So, where do we need to go next?" he asks, looking at Katten.

Some long moments later Linar adresses the minotaur, "So, how's the new bow? Feeling good?" Flexing his fingers Linar mutters a little rhyme, an illusion cantrip, "Just for a start, let arrow hit heart." The image of small arrow fires from the end of one finger to hit a heart on the palm of his other hand, both then fading gently away.
He continues, "And just to show my mercenary side, big fella, I'm still going to need you to pay me back the two hundred goin coins I lent you towards your bow."

"You pay 200 shiny Coins for Bow? I make mine, the tree it made from was very strong. I honour its loss by ending those who ended it." Shaking her head at these crazy people her eyes go wide at the display of magic.

"We go to Rift, stop Gronneskins, you call Orcs. They hurt my home." She explains looking around nervously.
" Kid never learned to clear a room. Doors and corners, I told him. Doors and corners."

They were south of the pit a ways, maybe half a day. Signa details, now that the course has been mostly agreed upon by the group. Somewhere between the goblin caves and Quel Salas. In fact, I suspect they may be using some of the old caverns in that area for refuge. It can be a bit of a maze in that area, but[/color] he smiles at Fin and Linar, the underground in this area may be more familiar to some.

Bullock

Alright little Gnome, I will pay you the 200 gold that you bargained with another. The bow is well made and not sure that Kat could make one with this much pull. Kind of hard even for me to draw it but it sure makes the arrows fly fast and hit with a thump.

He sets his pack down and digs out his large belt pouch full of coin and gems. Counts out 200 gold worth of Gems. Here it is.

Fin casts a quizzical look at Bull as he hands the 200 gp to Linar. "Did the goblins hit you in the head? Is there some mysterious illness that would cause you to forget who is who amongst party members? Perhaps you are cursed. You should try to throw off all your possesions to find out which one or ones are cursed."

"I am Linar," Linar reafirms to whoever is listening and then adds, "Thanks, Bull. I hope the bow feels good. It's taken a while. Might be worth getting a couple of spare bowstrings. Keep them in something that'll keep them dry."

OOC: GM - can we assume that Linar has been off shopping for some odds and ends that he wanted for his subterranean hidey-hole?

[OOC;
Chris: Yeah, there is plenty of that type of gear available in town, so we can say he acquired all of that during the day today. I'll check the list tonight and come up with the cost in your private thread.

All:
Anything else the characters want to do or discuss for tonight? Otherwise we can roll to the next game day[/ooc]

Katten would like to get arrows to fill her quiver and some javelins if she can? (She could make the arrows but that takes time, perhaps she'll get some spare arrow heads to restock as well)

Linar quietly offers, "Does anyone, in private of course, want to try and copy a spell of mine? Or want to offer the same to me?"

(I think Bullock is the only other arcane user. if you guys want to do a spell swap that's fine to list it here or in ooc thread)

As the conversation dies down the party turns in for the night one by one to their respective places.

In the morning they awake refreshed, ready for the day.

Findalsip rises, finds some solid rock and prays for the same set of spells he had from the day before.
