Coren (Noldoli's character) will join the group soon. He was in Dunreese when Amon and Echo came through and decided to go and help the group.

In fact, Coren could just now arrive at the group's campsite, finding three tents and two tethered mules. From Echo and Amon, he will have learned that the group had gone down the cliff path the day before.

Is Martin part of a multijurisdictional task force on organized crime?
Is his name Johnny Wishbone?

Good catch!

Consider it homage to Mr Murphy.
When it comes to BS stories, sometimes the classics are the best ones.

Ok, I am away from tomorrow morning (28th) until the following sunday (4th Nov) at the earliest.
I am off to my brothers wedding, which means traveling and no reliable internet.
I might find time to post on my phone but I am unsure as to how much I will be able to do this.

Jenn and I are talking about Eddie Murphy in the movie "Beverly Hills Cop" where Murphy, a Detriot police detective, operating completely out of his jurisdiction in Los Angeles, spins a ridiculous yarn to an LA police captain about being "part of a federally-funded multi-jurisdictional organized crime task force".
With regard to the storm, I'm about 75-100 miles from where the eye of the storm is expected to make landfall. We're expecting a storm surge about 10' high. I live about a mile from the coast at about elevation of about 15' above sea level. It might get interesting here.
Headshot is right in the path, I think, in central New Jersey.

I'll be posting when I can. The hurricane knocked out power in my neighborhood.
Local power company is saying it may be ten days before power is restored to the entire island. So, no lights, no heat, and no hot water at my home, although my workplace does have power.

I'm very relieved to have heard from everybody I know who lives in Sandy's path, everyone is OK. And Jen, I think that a storm like that would have caused a whole lot of problems in Europe, as well. Though not that widespread power outages, since cables for household voltage are nearly universally underground.
