Cross has to continue concentrating to maintain the illusuon. Moving ends the spell.

"The illusion lasts until struck by an opponent--unless the spellcaster causes the illusion to react appropriately--or until the wizard ceases concentration upon the spell (due to desire, moving, or a successful attack that causes damage). "

Jerry can see the Ontash illusion, and just barely see part of the wolf to the north hiding in the trees.

Unseen Servant hates Artanis! Since the creation of his "account", I've made 8 attack rolls and only 2 have been in double digits. I've checked to make sure I had everything typed in correctly and I do.
Conversely, he's had to roll 4 NWP's and two of those have been double digits.
Ravenloft has cursed him!

Would the roots and the hill work if she laid them as a sticky floor, say only 2ft deep, they couldn't move that way?

I'm thinking 60ft by 60ft, 2ft deep and surrounding that whole area.

she could make an 80x10x10, but that would be the longest
That's long enough to reach 1 square wide on the map betwen the trees and the barn, or she can wait for another opportunity
