"I was not really involved, I had to rest, I was very weak." Brax lowers her head, looking at the group, "Do we have a plan?" She asks the group'

"Thank You very much" Vee says smiling to Brax as she heals her wounds. "But I'don't need it like you, you'd rather heal yourself!"
"about the plans for today... I've got no plans exept NOT to go to the Meermaid-thing again!"

"I will heal, slowly, let us decide a course of action first." She says placing her hand on Vee's shoulder.

Searos sits staring out onto the ocean. "I would personally like to know why the fish lady (Searos shoots a look at the mages daring them to correct him) is all tied up and being used as bait. I would also like to know why she has done so very little to warn anybody away. This smells wrong to me. Plus, if the ugly sea creature (he shudders at the thought of her) maybe the fish cats or whatever they are have also gone away. This time though, lets keep a healthy distance until we are satisfied with her answers. Does anybody else have any ideas?"

"I would like to see if I can find more things like those I found yesterday" Henry says. "We cannot get close to the rock that girl is chained to before mid-afternoon anyway, the tide will be too high. We could try to talk to her while we skim the bushes at the high water line. Who of you can talk to her?"

"I would go with you Henry, while I share Searos's sentiment, I do not wish to face those creatures again." Brax shudders nursing the bite marks to her body, "Amon, perhaps you should stay safe and talk to her?"

"I'd like to go back and have a word with our new friend myself," Gunter regards Searos, "from as far away as we can be, of course."

"Exactly what I had in mind Gunter." Brax smiles, patting the Rangers shoulder.

"She does seem capable of speaking Elvish, as Echo and I can, but..," Amon stops suddenly, looking off in the distance. "Hold on..," he adds, putting a hand to his temple.
After a moment, he says, "Master Soulstaff has just contacted me using his magical ring of sending. He says Echo and I are to report back to Saltmarsh for a reason of importance--although he would not tell me what, specifically."
Getting to his feet, he says, "Echo and I will have to return to town and hop the next boat to Saltmarsh. Looks like the rest of this investigation is up to you all."

"In that case, the talking will fall to me" Kim says, stretching. "I speak Elvish, the language of my mother. So let us have breakfast and then go to the shore. We can look for evidence of the other people's fate and try to find out more about the triton"

"Oh." Brax says with some disappointment, she was enjoying getting to know the Mage. "I hope whatever it is does not take you away too long." She says, patting his shoulder. "Come back soon."
"I speak Elven also, but I am somewhat unwilling to face those creatures again." Shuddering she looks to the group. "Gunter, Vee would you go with Kim? Searos, could you come with me and Henry?"

"You seem to be a little confused, Brax" Kim answers with a frown. "We are all going to the same place, more or less. The flood line is just a little higher up from the rocks. As it is high tide now, we can't approach the triton any closer anyway. So we can all go look for things that belonged to the poor souls who were killed in the trap we almost fell into as well. And we will be within shouting distance of the triton. Of course, if the surf is high and noisy today, she may not hear my voice." Kim's voice is indeed hoarse and not very loud.

"Of course." Brax sighs. "I am not quite 'with it' if you understand?"

Searos shrugs. "Sure. That sounds like a plan. At least the ugly one is dead though... that makes the world a better place all on its own."

Giving Echo a quick glance Brax collects her things. "I am still sore, and might need some help."
If there are no other objections she gathers the group together and heads off. Reluctantly saying Goodbye to the two mages.
"I hope we meet again soon." she grabs him and kisses his cheek before he can react.
