Round 4

Val moves forcefully after the goblin [#G2] on the second walkway, barging through sacks and boxes that the smaller creature had had to circumnavigate. Finally confronting the green nuisance, Val slices a bloody welt across its ribs. [#G2, 4 slash]

Below Vic and Unbar prepare and hold spells from near the doorway.

Val’s goblin drops its bow and starts to pull out a dagger, just in time to have its shoulder and face fatally scorched by a hefty firebolt from Vic. [#G2, 12 fire] The remaining goblin [#G3] on the first floor walkway shrieks, “Only wanted walk!”, and makes a break for freedom down the stairs, catching a sonic blast from Unbar. [#G2, 5 Thunder] It pauses a few foot in front of the doorway and then dodges between the Unbar and Vic and dashes fifteen foot beyond them.

Actions for Round 5 ?

======

Initiatives:
Val 20
Vic 5
Unbar 3
Goblins 2

Goblin #2 stealth [1d20+6] = 2+6 = 8
Goblin #3 Wis save, DC12 [1d20-1] = 3-1 = 2
Goblin #3 acrobatics DC12, [1d20+2] = 15+2 = 17
#G3 uses Dash, Disengage, makes a successful Acrobatics skill check & Difficult Terrain applies in the doorway. Anyone that wants to finish off the totally demoralises goblin can do so automatically.

Vic strides forwards and siezes the thin, damaged goblin which collapses into a cowering green ball. Shielding its head, it quivers, apparently terrified.

What next?

The hapless creature looks at Vic, one bloodshot eye peering between its fingers.
It dribbles but its shaking subsides somewhat.

Is Goblin 2 dead? If not Val swings at him. Attack: [1d20+5] = 6+5 = 11
Damage: [1d8+3] = 5+3 = 8

Unnoticed by any outside, Val verifies the health of the collapsed goblin on the second-floor walk way by hacking at it. [#G2: AC12, auto- crit! 13 slash]
A small, green, part-cremated head flies off and crunches agaisnt one of the walls below.

Meanwhile, the small grovelling creature takes a deep breath then replies in broken common:
"Longo walk en Yek." It points firmly to the windmill.
"Yek walk en Pojo." It points vaguely to the northeast.
"Pojo want shinies for please Hark." It sweeps its arm in an arc to the west, before adding helpfully, "Hark n Harkole! Longo go?" It tries to inch away from Vic.

======
goblin's head, doorway is 7 [1d12] = 3
Grovelling goblin Insight DC15 [1d20-1] = 10-1 = 9

Combat ended. Each PC gains +50xp

"Hark n Harkole is your leader? Do you know about the big rocks?" Not keeping a strong grip, but enough to let the goblin know he isn't letting go just yet.
