Adran will watch at the edge for movement from below. I hope someone is alive down there!

The coin passes into the mist, as does Jerry's call, but no response comes. The rope remains taut, but under too heavy a load for them to pull up

"Dammit, don't let it go." Mira moves to join the others sideways to the pit so the rope and Elsa are in sight.

Cross adds his weight to holding the rope.

"This place never ceases to surprise."

"Anything new out there friend?"

At a loss to do anything else, Jerry goes back to help with keeping the rope secure then sks as an afterthought, "Anyone up here got another rope?"

To Cross' mind, Fenrir's respose comes. Nothing, only the wind and others of my kind.. Will you soon leave the cage? Cages are dangerous.

Merrick shakes his head to indicate he has no additional rope.

Adran comments As a matter of fact, I have 50 feet of rope - I only hope that is enough. Adran unfurls the rope from his pack and signals to everyone to help as he throws one end over the edge.....

"That's good. See if you can throw that end out to where the coin came up," suggests Jerry. "And maybe secure this end first?"

"I hope they are still down there, I do." Mira repeats to herself, each time checking on Elsa.

Adran tosses one end of his other rope down into the mists. Almost immediately the head of Sir Karl emerges from the fog on the taut line that was already in place!

"There's one!" points out Jerry. "Have you seen the others?"

Cross will scan the area making sure only their friends are coming from the Mist.

Adran will tie off his rope to the closest anchor point and then continue to scan the mists for other familiar faces.

"That, was an experience one would rather avoid." Karl calls out, grasping the side, and pulling on a rope tied around his waist. "Did anyone ask for a Kender, I believe I have one. The others are behind me." Rising up, her offers Jerry and then Mira a Bow, before hoisting the Kender up hand over hand. Holding the Kenders unconscious form against his armored chest he kneeling by the fallen Cleric. "She survived?"

The sheer look of both suprise and happiness on the Bards face says it all as she watches the Knight rise from the pit.

"You survived, you actually survived? The others are there too?"Gasping she places a hand on the Knights shoulder, "Yeah shes ok, shes just resting. Thank you, you saved her, you know."
