S1 by the great Gygax 1978. Everything adapted to 2e. This is NOT the Return to ToH written for 2e


Labyrinth of Madness!!! Previously Concluded (by TPK)
S6 by Monte Cook from 1995. Designed for 2e. IMHO this one is the tougher of the two, but not by much.

Galan looks at the team a little bit puzzled, "Leaving so soon? Don't you want to investigate the altar or the portal?"
Faladair glares at Galan, "Finally we found some wise partners, don't ruin it with your *investigations*".
Galan smiles at the sting but charismatically insists, "Guys, let's plan our steps forward. We can't leave any challenge we meet. Do you plan to return here?"

I think I missed this post. Where exactly on the map where did Bryce find the small slot with a letter "O"?

After a good 5 minutes or more of likely fending off at least one impatient brother, Bryce will head back into the room keeping to the back until he can get a visual on the alter. He'd like to know if there has been any change in colour since it started glowing

The appearance of the altar has not changed since the group moved back into the hallway, it continues to glow a fiery blue-red

Heal for Van

When the room is clear Tabbi wants to check out the SouthEast section wall directly opposite the archway with orange mists. She wants to investigate the slot with the O.

Vangram distributes some healing; undoing a small amount of the damage from the altar. Though it still glows oddly, it seems to pose no additional obvious hazard.

Tabbi inspects the slot near the O engraving. it is no more than a half-inch tall and only an inch or two wide. The area nearby seems to hold no hidden secrets so far as she can tell... [is there something specific she is looking for?]
