"Well, what do I do to get his attention?" Imani asks. Getting his attention seems to be the first step in everything. "Walking up to him and saying something doesn't seem like something I would be good at it."

"Well, that is the easiest way," Malika explains. "But some men don't like being chased, and prefer to do the chasing themselves. Stuffy knight types, especially. It makes them feel more like men. So there are ways to let him think he is the one chasing you." She holds a finger up to her chin and looks Imani up and down. "Well, first off, you need to show some more skin. You are all wrapped up, which is fine for the desert. But you must be quite hot now, with all this moisture in the air, yes? So not only will you get his attention, but you can stop sweating so much, too."

"Here, take this off entirely," she says, removing the woman's top entirely. "And we'll wrap it around your head instead. Oh, and you can borrow some of my bracelets and rings. Those are great for making noise, and getting a man's attention. Hold still! Okay, just a second. And there! A whole new look, yes?"

Imani has never felt so exposed in her life, but it seems to have an effect. She finds several sailors now staring at her, and one even walks into the mast by accident, he is so distracted.

"How do you feel?" Malika asks. "It's most liberating, yes?"

Imani stands there absolutely stunned as all of this is happening. Though, she seems to snap out of it once the woman is done, and she looks down at herself. Out of instinct, she crosses her arms over her mid-drift, as she has never been that exposed in her life. She looks up at Malika as if completely unsure on what to do until she takes notice of the guy walking into the mast. A small snicker escapes her lips at that point. "Not once have I ever seen men do that before," she states softly. "So this obviously gets their attention, but what do I do with it once I have it?"

Jerrard watches the exchange with interest, resting on the side of the vessel he takes a deep breath, seeing Imani, yet his eyes are on Malika all the time.

"Interesting." He comments no one in particular.

"Ohhh." Locky bounces over, her topknot around her head as she slides up to the two women. "Can I play?" She asks, unaware of what they are doing at all.

"Whatever you wish, naturally," Malika answers. "What is it that you do want once you get his attention?"

Meanwhile, Thuskar looks to Jerrard. "What's interesting?" he asks. He follows the mage's gaze and then raises an eyebrow. "Huh." Although the girls are too far to be overheard, it's easy enough to see them, and that includes Imani's new 'look.'

Ulster remains oblivious to it all, though. "I wonder where they are going to serve breakfast," he muses aloud.

(OOC: Remember, they went to the other end of the ship before starting this conversation.)

"She appears to be taking lessons." Jerrard says, turning away, yet his eyes keep fixed in that direction.

Imani had to consider that question for a few moments. Malika was right that Ulster didn't seem really experienced, so she didn't want to end up forcing him into something that was going to make him extremely uncomfortable. Really, she just wanted to see if she could turn his head right now. "I guess I ju...err," she says, stopping short as she looks down at Locky. "There is really nothing to play at," she says to the kender with a small smile. "We are just having a private conversation about a few things."

"Oh ok..." Locky shrugs, looking dejected, "Everyone always thinks, oh she's a Kender... never, oh she is a woman, I have lady bits too." With that she wanders off, her mind quickly changing to something else, swinging her legs over the side of the ship.

"I was just teaching Imani how to survive the heat," Malika says. "You see, in the desert it's better to cover up, but here on the sea..," but she trails off when the kender wanders off. "Oh, well." She turns back to Imani. "You were saying?"

Imani watches Locky walk off before she turns her attention back to Malika. "Well, I guess right now I just want to know if I can get his attention. I want to get him to make the first move."

"Now's a good time then," Malika says. "Go walk up to him, act casual. Like nothing's wrong. See how he reacts."

Meanwhile, the small man and the minotaur spot the party and head their way. "Ah, so you must be the passengers my first mate told me about," the man says. He looks to be a mix of a Khur and a Silvanesti, an unusual half-elf to be sure. "I am Captain Imaran of the Tandoon Tribe," he says with a polite bow. "A pleasure to meet you all."

"Jerrard Foss. Wizard of the White Robes." Jerrard offers his hand to the man, "Likewise."

Imani gives Malika a nod and takes a deep breath. This was no big deal. She was just dressing for the weather. Turning from Malika, she walks back over to the group. She brushes her hand up against Ulster as she moves to stand next to him to hear what the Captain has to say.

The captain shakes the wizard's hand with a hearty grin. "Ah, yes. I was told you agreed to lend us your arcane powers. We are quite grateful. Who are the rest of your group?"

Imani and Malika head back to the others, who are meeting with the captain (save Locky, who is off on her own). When Imani brushes against Ulster, he blinks, confused, and turns to face her. "Oh, hi Imannnnnnnnnnnnniiiiiiii," he says, the name getting caught in his throat at the sight of her. His eyes dropping downward at her curves and smooth skin, he immediately turns beet red and whirls around, covering his eyes, flustered. He attempts to sputter out something, but it's entirely unintelligible.

"I think you got his attention," Malika whispers.
