"Uh, thanks," Imani says to Locky while they were bathing. Once done, she looks to Babushka. "That would be something you would have to do early in the morning. I plan on moving on tomorrow to find Malika after Locky does some more healing on us."

"I can do that. Should I concentrate on the front line? I am but one Kender." She says with a little giggle and a splash.

Babushka looks at Imani squarely.
"It is clear that we need a leader in battle, and since you are the one who has the most training, you are the obvious choice. I will certainly do what you tell me in a fight or emergency. But when we are not in a rush, I would rather have everyone to get their say on what we do.
That said, dawn and dusk are the best times for hunting, so of course that would be done early in the morning."

"But aren't we kind of in a rush?" Imani asks curiously. "I'm not trying to be bossy, but finding Malika and getting our stuff back is kind of a big deal. The only reason why we haven't rushed off, right now, is because we weren't exactly in any type of fighting condition," she explains before she turns to Locky. "Um, just concentrate on those that need it the most."

"Then I probably misunderstood your intention" Babushka concedes to Imani. "I was uncomfortable because you said "I plan on" and not "I think we should". And one thing we need to do now is to decide on watches. I am fully healed, so I can easily take first watch, then sleep and go hunting at dawn. Who wants to take first watch with me?"

"I will," Ulster volunteers.
"And I'll take second watch," Thuskar adds.
"I can take third," Jeremy says.

"Can I sit with you Jeremy?" Locky asks, still in her robe, "You won't believe what happened with the Kirath? They vanished!" She stands, mouth open.
----------
"I will take second, unless you wish to imani?" Jerrard asks, "Actually, I will study the items, including that armor and your sword... It will mean I will have to avoid taking a watch."

"The kirath vanished?" Babushka asks. "I've heard rumors of elves vanishing instead of dying, but I didn't know this happened after their death, in the parting ceremony."

"Paladine took them? I was a little shocked, I guess he likes me." The little kender beams.

Babushka hugs her friend. "I know he does" she says fondly.

"They vanished?" Jerrard asks lifting his head. "Wonder what he will make of it?" He adds looking at the fallen Kirath.

"I can take the watch as you need to study," Imani says. Though, she doesn't comment on the whole conversation about the elves vanishing. She saw it herself, but she didn't really know what to make of it, other than the fact that they were returning to their God.

"Guess that leaves Fikod to take last watch then," Ulster says. "And I've never heard of dead people vanishing, either. But the ceremony was to send them back to Paladine, right? So...guess it worked?"

"I guess it did." She responds hugging the Gnome back. "I will pray, and rest."

Jerrard collects the items he wishes to identify and starts the ritual, holding the pearl in his hand.

Jerrard once again casts the identify spell, handling each object in turn as knowledge about them floods into his mind.
The wand he took off the body of Timir-i-Ling, the one that says 'Sahm' on it, can fire one or two missiles of magical energy when the word is spoken. It's remaining power is fairly weak, though.
The small-sized chain mail taken from the amphi dragon's hoard, that Locky has been wearing recently, has a moderately powerful enchantment of protection upon it.
The scimitar found in the ghoul's lair has a fairly powerful enchantment on it, making it sharper and more balanced.
The rusty sword that was found in the funghemoth's lair that Ulster has been carrying has an odd enchantment on it. It's slightly more powerful and balanced than a regular long sword, but only if the rust remains. If the rust is removed, it loses its power--however, the rust always return within a day's time.
Finally, the first unidentified potion is revealed to have special properties. When consumed, the imbiber actually becomes a couple of years more youthful again.
The spell complete, the pearl vanishes and Jerrard finds himself suddenly exhausted as if he had been working out the past several hours.
==========
The wand is a Wand of Magical Missiles. It has 6-40% of its charges remaining.
The small-sized chain mail is Chain Mail +2.
The scimitar is a scimitar +3.
The rusty long sword is a long sword +1 but only when it's rusty.
The first unidentified potion is an Elixir of Youth.
