Chapter 2: Temple of Torm: Temple of Terror

Out on the streets:

"What a strange creature" Egewulf mumbles to himself. He'd never seen anything like it before. "City of Splendors they say" he mumbled again as he continued into the Sea Ward. Egewulf notices her give him a few glances and then continue wandering about, looking rather lost. He too was unsure of his next turn so he decided to see if she wanted to seek directions together. Egewulf approaches the Aasimar carefully and introduces himself in common, hoping she understands him.

[ Have you never seen a female before, why do you stare at me so?]

She waits for a reply, her right hand is now upon the hilt of her mace.

With a sigh Turic speaks, "Kata and Kadrian went to scout out the Cynosure and the estates of House Dezlentyr and the Nandar's. They were supposed to return here and advise us on potential scenarios to free Silifrey Hornraven and the other escort on Lliira's Night." He continue while closely examining the rug and bloody clothing, "When I went meet Sally this morning, she was no where to be found and her journal was lying on the floor. Evidently Sally's investigation revealed more details concerning Ag and Vestele among other things." He pauses with a puzzled look, "Odd? Kata's robe is neither torn nor blood splattered? It appears to have been used as a towel."

Navi nods, wishing she had her crossbows with her, instead she fingers the wand discreetly hidden in her belt.
"Indeed, perhaps your clothes would be best, why would they remain so?"

Out on the street:

"Sure," Egewulf replies. "Just never one with wings, is all. Didn't mean to startle ya, I'm needing some directions and thought you might too. Thought we could try'n find our way together. Where are you heading?"

[I am looking for the Wandering Wemic but know not what it is exactly or where it's located, I'm just strolling and looking for a picture of a Wemic or until I find someone with directions. Would have been nice to have had friends that lived or knew someone that has been there. Are you looking for a particular place?*]

Outside in the street:

"I believe it's an Inn of some sorts and it's also my destination" Egewulf exclaims. "I was also told it was on this street, so I believe if we continue down that way, we should find it.... After you, of course" as he gestures in their general direction.

[Glad to see chivalry isn't dead. *]She smiles flirtily at him.[*My name is Xiindor, what's yours?]

Outside in the street:

"Egewulf, of Luskan," he says as he keeps a straight face. "Ah, I believe it should be just ahead."

As Kata's body is exposed in front of him, all blood drains from his face, and then quickly returns in double measure. He quickly turns and loses his balance for a moment. He is indecicive regarding exiting the room as he feels he need to understand what did he see when Kata was uncoscious, on the other hand, she keeps distracting him with her... well... sexuality. Eventually he says embarassed, "Well, I don't know where to find you something to wear." and he looks at Nati helplessly.

"Kata my dear, what are you doing to the poor man?" He hand touches the Hilt, wrapping her hand around the pommel, "Whatever you are playing at, I suggest you stop."

"Why you should have said so sooner Vrunar. Turic, you are familiar with Waterdeep? Would you be a dear, and take Vrunar to a quality seamstress?" asks Kata. "Navi and I have much to discuss."

Turics eyes glaze over momentarily as he shakes his head... "I would be delighted to help Kata. Come along Vrunar. I know a place not very far from here. We will be back in practically no time at all." Giving Vrunar's arm a firm tug as he passes by, Turic makes for the door...

Meanwhile, the raven haired girl smiles sweetly as she steps towards Navi and reaches into her pouch.

"What have you done to them?!" Navi asks, her sword drawn slightly as she steps back a few paces, "I know magic when I see it." She almost purrs, her movements becoming fluid as she wraps her hand around the wand in her pocket.

"Oh, I just sent them away for their own benefit. Can't let them in on discussion of our family matters, can we? You'll need to give me that ring of course... and explain how House Dorothil and House Ealoeth are related." Kata pulls a sheathed rapier from her pouch... "Please don't put up a struggle. Faelar will be angry with me if that lovely face of yours gets scarred."

"I think the phrase is, not a chance in Hades.." Drawing the rapier in one quick movement she cuts across the woman's body in a single under hand slash.

"I knew the temptation would be way too much for you, they don't understand.." she shakes her head.
