Hunt whispers to her. "Not yet. Let's see what he wants first" "What do you want?" "I would like an object in the possession of the people inhabiting this island. And you get one warning: Let me do as I please, and none of you will have to die." Hunt stares the man down. "You don't tell us what to do. Now, drop the bow and stand down."

The archer glances at Max backing away. He seems to realize what she is doing. He does not drop the bow.

The archer drops down from the tree, and points his bow in the air. "Now." Hunt says. "What do you want us to do? We're not leaving, and we need to reclaim this island from the forces of Dread Lock. Now, take off the mask, and we'll talk."

“The only way you will see my face is to rip this hood of my corpse. And that isn’t as easy as it sounds. As for what I want, I want you fools to let me take what is rightfully mine, and to not get in my way.” Hunt signals Max over to him. He whispers to her. "Okay, when I say surrender, I want you to call the Lighting down on that tree behind him. I'll lay cover fire, and hopefully we can get the tree to fall on him." Hunt yells back to the figure: "What do you want to get here? Why don't you come talk about it with us, as long as you surrender!" He opens fire on the figure with the assault rifle.

3M hears a thunderclap, followed by another bright flash in the direction of where he left the others. This is followed by automatic fire.

The lightning bolt crashes into the tree, surprising the man who expected it to hit him. He tries to dodge a bolt, but the tree falls on him. He tries to dart out the side, but Hunt fires a few warning shots toward him. Hunt, Dalton, and the female agent surround the tree.

The sound of sawing comes from beneath. Max remembers that he had arm spikes. Hunt switches to his pistol, and loads in a specially marked cartridge. "Quit sawing, and come out now! Last chance before we light you up!"

There is a terse standoff for a few moments, then smoke fills the area where the tree is. A shuriken flies out of the smoke and embeds itself in the female agent's shoulder. A branch snaps simultaneously. She cries out in pain, but discipline and training take over, and she fires at the last seen location of the hooded villain. Hunt opens fire as well, with the special clip. When the smoke dissipates, the hooded man is nowhere to be seen. Hunt tends to the female agent, then searches for clues.
