Jease... I rolled a d20 even after all the talk of the d100...
Sigh... must have been watching that movie with my kid.

Nah, you're just used to 3e or 3.5 where everything is a d20 with modifiers... I kind of prefer the d100 for a lot of stuff, it gives a bit more fine-tuning to things at times.
Oh yeah..
Wakey wakey, Yasir!

you can re-try the retrieval at half your pp score (and play it off as intentional)

I felt that I'd try that sleep thing, sadly I cannot keep an eye on here and sleep... I though I was pretty good at multitasking too...
I enjoy the additional percentage rolls oft included with 2E, and that were left out of 3rd... I try to use percentiles when I can for 3rd... at least with friends at home, heh. I've never really had much 2E experience(as I've mentioned before) outside of the Baldurs Gate games and I'm finding I really enjoy it, I may even try to convert some of my local friends >.>

I actually prefer 2e (if you ignore most of the additional rules) for role playing. 3.5 is fun if you want a PC that is customised, but ... It doesn't seem the same

The song "Addicted to Chaos" by Megadeth came on while I was writing Yasir... and it felt so appropriate to me I had to share, especially so soon after our chaos conversation

(dead horse and i'm beating it).
I'm pretty much in agreement with you, Jen. I like customization and RP, I don't have the time or money to go through all the source material and really cherry pick the things I like from each edition, but it would be nice to do someday
I'm much more interested in character development and story progression, heh. I may be a weird one but I liked 3rds customization that allowed characters to be true specialists of their craft instead of cookie cutter stat monsters(just an opinion). The kit options in 2E are awesome though, having fun trying to sort through them for Tristens games

The rain comes down, cold wind blows
The plans we made are back up on the road
Turn up my collar, welcome the unknown
Remember that you said
"One day you'll walk alone"
If you don't know the song..
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=G9P_4RXHCys
That's one of my favourite albums.
Once upon a time I had the time to go through that sort of thing, all the kits and the like, but it's just too much hassle these days.

I thought that
"In a dream I cannot see
Tangled abstract fallacy
Random turmoil builds in me
I'm addicted, addicted to chaos"
felt fairly appropriate especially after just reading his last dream sequence(if it was a dream!). Might be a little on the nose but I like the obvious, muhahaha.
It is a great album, my music tastes take me all over the place so I haven't really listened to them in a few months but now I've got the itch!
Many of the Kits are fresh and new to me... and I live in perma ignorance, pretty blissful, lol.

I'm truly surprised you didn't get the "A Toute Le Monde" Lyrics...
I remember getting my French teacher to translate that one.
Yasir is going to need some support isn't he? He needs to ask for it, and he will have a supportive shoulder.

Tristen beat me to it by a few hours, or I may have been internet disabled at the time but I remember reading and getting the references

Metallica? They're not really one of my favorites, no complaints just prefer others
Sadly Yasir may be in need of support, at least at times lol, but I've seem to written him as someone that would not ask. Gotta stop playing myself and write original characters, lol. However, Character development may very well lead to him asking for help, unless he goes mad, or maybe that will be the cause...options, options, options and it all depends on Tristen
