Jen: since Mira is on the peak of the roof, she could back up and hop down onto the lower section, or attempt to slide down the slope a bit. Otherwise she could simply withdraw and hope Artanis keeps its attention. The dex check would apply for either of the first two options.

The creature seems pretty determined to keep someone within mele range. Will she still throw if it remains so? Penalties for Medium sized allies fighting Large foes are only -2 per ally engaged
Nocturno: the full-taunt is a full-round action, but I like where your head is at

It worked on the last wolf-man

but Elsa might go into conniptions if he succeeds

She'll slide down a little, so she is out of range unless he chooses to chase her, she'll get her.magjc missile ready when she does so.

Seeing friends in danger he would taunt rather than sling at the thing.

OK, thought it was -4, which with no Dex bonus and THAC0 20 is pretty pointless. So, she will throw when one or no char are in melee with it. Not sure how init works in this circumstance, so if it requires Jerry to hold action and only get 1 or 2 stones off in a round (rather than the max of 3) then fine. I have edited the previous post in the main thread.

-4 is for melee between an ally and opponent when the foe is smaller in size (as with the goblins in genwald). Larger foes halve the penalty per size category, smaller foes double it. I should have said -2 to hit a larger creature like the wolfman total now while he is engaged in melee with both mira and artanis. It would be only -1 if he is only in melee with one or the other.
This might seem confusing the way I have it written here, but it's explained better in the rules thread

I think that's where I got the -4 from.

If nothing from Kerap by tomorrow I'll move it on.

I was having difficulty following the actions, so I wasn't sure if it was Artanis' turn yet or not. Just posted.

{OOC: Not sure how long it takes to pick oneself up, i.e did the wolfman lose any of his movement and still able to disappear from sight this round? Did anyone get a shot at the wolfman through the window?}
He's very fast. Half his movement was enough to take him around the corner of the barn. Beyond thar nobody can see him. There are no widows on the east side of the house.

Can Mira reach her crossbow? And how far is it to the ground?

Lol Nocturno. Even normal wolf speed is like 18.
She canpick it up easily now. If you go off the high peak of the roof, it's 20' ish. If you go off the low side like Pyros did it's about 13'.

The funny part is Pyros has no idea why he whipped out the door... but he is caught up in the excitement.
