"Perhaps." Brax shrugs, turning to hide her blushes she ends up facing Searos.

As Gunter pulls on the rags with his sword, he discovers that the hag is still wearing them.

Or rather, what is left of the hag is still clothed. It looks as if her pets, not having been able to get any of the group, have instead satiated their hunger on their former mistress. The arms and legs have been bitten off, the skull cracked open. The sight is hideous, revulsing, but the power to drain strength is gone.

Searos follows after Brax and Gunter and at the sight of the rags decides to check a different pool.

"Well that evil thing saw a fitting end." Brax comments with no remorse, the strong exterior coming back up following her moment of weakness.

"Perhaps those things are at least full up, I was thinking we could leave some oil on the water, when they attack next, the flames should harm them greatly." She says to Gunther, keeping the Ranger close.

Gunter looks at Brax, impressed with the dark elf's idea.

"That's a great idea! Now, do we have any oil?"

"I have a small vial. I don't really need Lanterns but it is useful some times. Perhaps Kim does?" she suggests as she scans the other pools. "Do you have any oil?" she asks searos.

Searos shakes his head as he explores the tidal pools making sure to stay away from the shoreline. "No, I don't have any oil. Kinda wish I did though considering that idea of your's..."

Sorry, I don't understand what you mean here ("they are full up"?) And what exactly do you plan to do with the oil?

"Then we will improvise, I bet Amon had some..." She says with an offhand glance to the departed mage, moving to the edge of the water she faces the Trition. "Can you see the creatures?" She asks in elvish.

I think the plan is to try and lure the seacats close and then light them up with the oil and a flame?

"You mean the sea cats?" the triton asks. "They have retreated to their den. I could lure them away. If I call sharks, they will hunt them" she offers.

Gunter gapes at the Triton, clearly annoyed.

"Then why in the nine hells didn't you call upon your sharks when that old lady and her pets were making us into fish bait yesterday? And who are you anyway? The truth or I have no problem finishing you myself."

Clearly frightened by Gunter's threat when it is relayed to her, the triton hastens to respond:

"I called dolphins to your help yesterday! I did not dare to call anything stronger, because the hag has threatened to kill me like she killed all those who came down here! I had forgotten she was dead already, I'm sorry!" she almost wails, stretching out her arms imploringly.

"Please help me!" she cries. "I am Shearsea, daughter of the triton prince. I swam away from my home because everyone said I was a spoiled little princess and of no value to anyone. I wanted to prove them wrong, but that turned out so terribly! The sea cats captured me after a storm and brought me to the hag, and she chained me to this rock! Please help me! Please! I need to get to the water soon, the chain is so short, I cannot reach it! I will die in a few days if you don't free me! Please help!" She is sobbing now.

"Gunter." Brax motions with her hand, "I am too weak to help, one hit from one of those creatures and I will be dead." She says plainly, "Could you help her? The water is probably shallow enough, we will ensure the sea cats are gone, before you enter though."

"We are angry because you kept things from us, and we did not know the reason, we will help you, won't we Gunter?" She asks, giving him an almost girly glance, fluttering her eyelashes.

Gunter looks from Brax to the triton, and then at Searos. As he starts to remove his bow and quiver from his back he asks the thief, "Think you can cover me while I try to do this?"
