Bryce shrugs in acquiescence and heads back toward the tunnel they emerged from.

Zafron and Tabbi follow Bryce.

Galan begins to play a peppy adventuring song as the coins are scraped up and stored, and the group wedges their way back into the Second Grand Hall.

"Let's first check the doors." Galan suggests.

Van stays back at minimum 30ft from where ever there is an investigation going on. Farther if possible.

Bryce nods at Galan and heads to the nearest door and starts his standard trap detection process before trying to see if it is locked.

As before there seems to be something unusual when he examines the gap beneath the door. The space behind almost seems as if it lead not to another room, but to eitheran abrupt step up or a blank wall...

There is either a staircase leading up IMMEDIATELY behind this door or there is a wall. Bryce informs the group Based on what we have seen already, probably trapped as well. Give the word and I can try to open the door, just giving you all a heads up if you do want me to.

"If you think the door is trapped with poison I would be willing to open it. I've been know to avoid the dangers of poison, as of you brother." says Zafron to Bryce.

Van sighs pretty loudly.

"He says that when his Brother is a Cleric... ever wonder how I got so good at keeping folks healthy?"

He points at his Brothers.... and wiggles his eyebrows. He almost goes to elbow Sorril, but catches himself, and rubs it instead.

"You guys are just laughing at danger face eh?" Galan says smiling and plays a tune about the gods protecting those who jump into danger bravely (if not foolishly).

Van listens to the song, and comments. "There is a fine line between bravery and stupidity. My Brothers have wide feet..."

Galan smiles slightly and answers, "I tend to agree. Still, few gods cherish intelligence, but most takes heart to valor and will tip the scales to turn stupidity as you call it into heroic deeds. I believe your brothers are material for great story telling."

Bryce gives a short bark of amusement at Galan's words. "We're nothing if not play toys of the gods. Though the relationship gets interesting once you lean into that knowledge." he quips as he moves to the side of the door. Once positioned he calls out "Heads up!" waits a count of three and then attempts to open the door while keeping himself to the side of the doorway.
