Gunter spends a minute to catch his breath and then looks at the dark elf.
"Well, we might as well get this over with...I'm ready when you are."

Searos bobs to the top desperately grabbing for anything solid that he can hang onto like the dying drowning man he is. "It is cold, it is dark, and I can't breathe. Oh sure, this is a great idea."
When Brax touches his forehead for a prayer, Searos' face makes it clear that he would slap her hand away if he weren't clinging to something for dear life.
"Is this seriously worth it? Are we seriously going to keep doing this?"

Coren, too, comes through with Shearsea's help and gasps for air, grabbing whatever he can to keep his head above water. "It is one dive like this back and three dives when we continue, right?" he asks once he can talk again.
After Brax translates the question to her, Shearsea says: "Yes, that is true. There is a lot of treasure the Sea Hag has taken from those she caught. If you take it, it is all yours. I could go back to my people, they would help me get back my things, but they would take the rest as well. I would ask them to give you a reward for saving me, of course."

"Well, we didn't come all this way to not get paid...as much as I dislike these dives, I dislike being poor even more."

"Oh, I think you will get paid some when you return to Dunreese" Coren tells Gunter. "The two mages were given five gold pieces each just for telling the council what you have found out yesterday."

"We swim, get those babies and the treasure. Best to deal with what we do with it later." Taking Gunters hand she pats it gently. "Follow me, I will be here when you get to the otherside."

With that she takes a deep breath and darts below the water, using her Elven sight as soon as she reappears.

Gunter regards Searos with a quick *sigh*, takes a deep breath and leaps in behind Brax.

Searos mumbles a bit in agreement to Gunter's dislike of being poor. "That being said, I'm not sure how much I really feel like risking my life for 5 gold pieces. Seems like a poor return." However, he takes a deep breath and does his best to follow in everyone's wake.

This time, both Brax and Gunter pass through with ease. Both Searos and Coren, however, get seriously short of air and cannot help getting some water into their lungs. Shearsea helps Searos through and calls on Brax:
"Quick, I need your help, the other one's in trouble and too heavy for me alone!" then she dives back.
Searos finds a rock to cling to while he coughs to clear his lungs. Both he and Gunter can hear something over the noise he makes: a kind of yeĺping comes from the far end of the cave, still outside the circle of light from the magical torch. Then they hear splashes.
Die rolls for Coren

Turning back quickly Brax taps Gunter on the shoulder, making sure he has the torch, and dives back to rescue Coren.

Grabbing him by the waist she pulls him to the main cave.

Brax and Shearsea grab Coren and pull him through. However, the cleric is in a bad state. He apparently has lost consciousness because of all the water in his lungs. There is as yet no beach visible for the humans, though the water appears to be more shallow towards the right side, where the yelping and splashes are coming from.
Brax, however, can see that there definitely is a beach in that direction. Six creatures the size of a large dog are either still on the beach or have just jumped into the water, paddling towards them.

Searos groans as he surfaces again, coughing and sputtering. "Wait... what in the name of the gods is that sound? What is that!??! What is going on!"

Pulling Coren to the surface Brax watches the Small Sea cats approach.
"Take him, please." She suggests to Shearsea, if she does so, she draws her mace and moves next to Gunter. (If she doesn't Brax will keep Coren above the surface and shouts.)
"Six Sea Cats coming our way, take your weapon."
