[Bish: Fire Arrows the 2nd level spell from the Wizard spell compendium causes a campfire to explode into several fiery arrows. Since there is no campfire here, it will not work. In the interest of time, we can say Galan does his spell at the end of the round so you can choose a different one without loosing a round. The skeletal figure appears rather than steps out of the large chest, slashing twin scimitars already in motion! The nimble Dwarven rogue instinctually drops to a squat as the blur of steel cleaves the air above his head fast enough that it trims a thick lock of his trailing hair! Sorril and Elidyr immediately begin calling out loudly to Vangram Mondoon. Hearing the cries, the priestly Dwarf hustles his way back to the illusory passage and scurries down the cramped tunnel to join the others as the scene unfolds. Sorril hefts his magical shield and draws his truly powerful magical sword, wading into the melee without hesitation as one might expect from a paladin. He slashes mightily at the undead creature, making contact by the barest of margins. His near-artifact level magical sword rebounds off of bone with a deafening
CRACK, removing only a small chip from the undead!
Faldair begins praying for the Blessings of the gods upon the party as Bryce gathers himself. Swiftly he draw-slashes with his magical daggar Longtooth, but it has no greater effect than the Paladin's sword upon the bony shins of his foe. He tries to circle around, but the skeleton is standing stradling the chest rather than emerging from it. A daggar flies from Elidyr at his perch still in the passage, making yet another tiny chip to whittle away at the skeleton. With a nod from Zafron, Tabbi and the more martial Mondoon free their Maces and move to engage the Giant. The halfing rogue has some trouble making contact with her heavy weapon, but the heavily muscled Mondoon makes contact not once but twice! Each bashing blow shatters large swaths of skeletal structure, badly damaging the Large undead!
