CH. 5: The Sending is Coming from Inside the House

Assuming everyone gets a full glass of the ale, the pitcher can be evenly divided among the four of them for one drink a piece.

"She only had one glass," Jocelyn says as she walks into the room. "If anything, she'll sleep well tonight."

[Breila]

"It sure is time to sleep" Ouragana nods as she accepts her glass of ale. She drinks it slowly.

[Jenara]

"Sleep? I don't want to sleep!" Arei calls out loudly, "It's time to party!" Taking a long sip of the ale she wipes her mouth with her arm and slams the drink down.

"I remember once, on ship, we had just 'acquired' some cargo, the crew were pretty happy, so we drank for two days straight. The ship was anchored in this little cove, we ended up dancing naked till someone fell in... And then we all fell in." Swigging hee drink again she slams it down once again. "Come Val.. bet you have some stories!" Lifting up the glass again she sips, tries again, then again.. turning the glass upside down it slowly dawns on her its all gone.

[Nuke]

"I don't think you want to hear the stories of naked danging amazons. They are not about drinking. They are more.....carnal, let's say."

Val drinks her ale and tries to relax a bit.

[Jenara]

"Carnal?" Arei asks, "Carnal is good..I am no innocent little girl. Do tell..." She says with a wink.

[Nuke]

"Well, consider the situation of Andar. Multiply that a few times over, and you might understand the nature of my tribes 'raids' on others."

She looks around, expecting to see shock and disbelief. She takes another drink.

[Jenara]

Arei gulps "Does anyone have anything else to drink?"

[Breila]

Ouragana shakes her head. "Not me" she says. She sits on the bed, sipping on her ale. Then she looks into her glass. "Unless you want mine?"

[Jenara]

"You finish it." Arei winks, spawling back on the bed she starts to giggle.. "Oh my god, did I really say that to Andar? You have to admit he was cute..."

[Breila]

Ouragana says nothing, she does her best not to let her discomfort show. She only wants to get the evening over with.

"Cute isn't exactly the word I would use for him," Jocelyn says as she slowly drinks her ale.

The girls drink their ales, but are able to stomach them easily enough except for Areilon, who is already tipsy, not to mention smaller built. The ale pushes her from tipsy to outright drunk.

Ouragana makes a CON check with a -2 penalty (ale) (1d20): 1, pass. She is unaffected.
Areilon makes a CON check with a -2 penalty (ale) (1d20): 15, fail. Areilon is now moderately intoxicated (+2 morale, -3 INT, -4 WIS, -2 DEX, -1 CHA, -1 to hit, +1 HP, 50% spell failure).
Val makes a CON check with a -2 penalty (ale) (1d20): 12, pass. She is unaffected.

[Jenara]

"Whassrsst would you call him theeeennfdt?" Arei asks, rolling over she rests her head on Vals leg. "I'm gonna get him... Soon.."

[Breila]

Ouragana moves over to Jocelyn. Not being able to avoid the set subject entirely, she asks the cleric: "Do you form formal bonds in your order? In the academy, we don't, because there rarely is more than one storm sorcerer on the ship, so couples would be separated for long periods of time. Some male sorcerers, especially elves, are said to have children in every other harbour. Females avoid having children, because they can't work with small children unless they are lucky to be able to teach at the academy."
