Jeremy looks thoughtful for a moment, and then says, "I'm not quite at full strength yet lareth, but if you think this bears looking into, I may be of some small help. I would defer to your judgment on the situation though, being that these are your peoples lands, and you would know better than I what the right course of action is."

"I'll walk around the right side of the building, if you take the left. We will meet at the south end," Imani says softly as she begins her trek around the building, taking the right side as she said she would.

Lareth gets to his feet. "I'd better check it out then," he says. "If it is some ancient elven ruin, it won't do to have non-elves poking around, touching or breaking things." He looks to Jeremy and Locky. "Very well, you may as well accompany me then."

(OOC: Jerrard, nor anyone else in the party, has a pot. So I'm kind of wondering what Jerrard is cooking his stew in.

"Imani, better let's wait for Thuskar to come back before we look at the ruins. There are too many tracks to know if someone is inside the building. Let's not put ourselves into danger. These might be more of the draconians, after all."
Is the smell of rotting coming from the ruined building?

Jeremy grabs his bow and two quivers of arrow and gets ready to follow Lareth. "You sound rather reluctant to have us with you, If you would prefer to have me stay behind, I will. As I said, I will follow your instruction in this, these ARE your peoples lands after all." Jeremy says, waiting on Lareth's instruction.

(Artistic license? I'll amend that post)
"Locky, Thuskar and Jeremy go with Lareth. Ulster could you stay here and help guard, my strength is.. flagging." He asks as he sits by his horse.

"Thank you. I'll be good." She winks and waits for the group to go.

As far as Babushka can tell, the decaying odor is emanating from the shrine itself.
"In truth," Lareth says to Jeremy, "I am reluctant to have any of you in this forest at all. But that is beyond my ability to control for the time being. Come or stay as you please. I will go, however."
With that, he gestures for Thuskar to lead the way. Ulster, Jerrard and Malika remain at the camp with the horses and donkeys, while Locky goes with them. Whether Jeremy remains or accompanies them is left up to him to decide.

"I'm used to people not liking me." Locky says as she walks onwards, "You don't like people in your forest, I get that, we are just passing through."

"That smells like rotting meat," Imani says as she waits for the others. "Do elves even eat meat?"

While Imani and Babushka ponder the dietary habits of the elves, Thuskar shows Locky, Lareth and Jeremy to the shrine. They find Babushka and Imani crouched in the foliage after a ten minute walk, and can now see the shrine in the clearing--as well as smell the decay wafting from within.

Babushka seems relieved to see the kirath. "Oh, Lareth, it is good that you come. The tracks leading here suggested an elven hunting party who caught a deer, but leaving anything to decay in a half-crumbled shrine seemed so odd to me that I didn't want to look further without consultation."

"Hi" Locky says with a little wave, "Oh that does smell, it reminds me of a Orge I met once, very horrible smell, the ugly thing, he left rotting meat around for ages, to attract scavengers." She rambles on, not realising that what she said could actually be a good point.
"Are we going in?" She adds.

"Lareth," Jeremy says in a whisper," I do not claim to know elves very well, but I do agree with Babushka. To the best of my knowledge, you elves are vegetarians, an this seem to be rather peculiar for elves. What do you want us to do?"
