Gunter will spend this round hauling himself over the side and then drawing his battle axes!

Seeing Gunter appear Brax appears somewhat more relaxed.

The man holding the light suddenly stops almost in mid-stride, he just manages to hold to the rail, effectively blocking the stairs that lead from the poop deck to the main deck.

The man who had spoken to Martin earlier, an impressively muscled redbeard in chain mail and helmet, crosses his arms. "And what makes you say the vessel is taken? She is mine, always has been.Don't you think I have means to defend her against a wannabee captain and his bootlickers?"

With a hyena-like grin (imagine!), Khchk vaults over the railing towards the main deck, landing there smoothly on all fours. Krtk does the same. Together with Martin, they cover the doors leading from the main deck into the forecastle.

The two sailors on the deck had moved towards Searos and Reller, but turn around when the gnolls land, confused, and look towards their Captain for instructions.

Brax, Gunter and Vee risk getting hurt if they imitate the gnolls (and would be so loud they alert everyone on board). They need to get to the stairs, the easiest way there would be to remove at least one of the capstan arms.

"Oh, excellent! I was hoping for repartee!" Martin grins at the captain.
"Captain Ginger, meet Frick and Frack. They are why I say your vessel is taken. Well, these two and the rest of my team. You and yours don't stand a chance.
Martin calls in a loud, clear voice: "The rest of you: your captain is determined to spend the rest of his short and miserable life in a hopeless fight, but that's no reason why you should have to share his fate. Because when these two get through with someone, it's really not pretty. I mean, the last guy, once we found his lungs, they were, I mean, well, I had to stop and throw up. Anyway, throw down your weapons and surrender, and you get to leave with your limbs and organs intact." Then he lowers his voice to address the red-bearded captain: "Tell me, Captain: have you ever had your arse kicked by a clown? I am told it is a very embarassing experience."

Searos ignores the general back and forth occurring and takes a pot shot at the dude heading for the doors.

Roll to Attack = 19 (I don't have my char sheet on me but I'm pretty sure a natural 19 is a hit)

Vee joins Brax at the capstan, pulling one of its arms. Suddenly holding this short staff in her hand she turns round, looking down to the guys down there.

Because she had to get rid off the stick in her hand somehow, she just threw it down on the smuggler next to the door
(hope I won't hit Martin)

If there's room, Gunter will join Brax and Vee at the capstan...

The smugglers (1,2 and 3 on the map) draw their weapons and move to regroup in the area between the mast and the jolly boat, where the captain joins them. However, #1 is hit in the armpit by Searos's arrow. He groans in pain, drops his dagger and clutches his wound with the now free hand. Because he moved, the capstan arm thrown by Vee clatters on deck without causing him harm. Gunter takes out the second capstan arm blocking the way of their group from the anchor chain to the stairs leading to the main deck. Kim is on deck, and Geraldine has started climbing up the anchor chain.

The light on the stairs leading from the poop deck to the main deck is moving again, back up. Apparently, there are more people there who now move the held sailor away to free their path. There's also movement on a rope ladder leading to the main deck from the mast, apparently, the occupant of the crow's nest is coming down to join his comrades.

Krtk and Khchk go around the jolly boat (the oblong shape on the main deck) in a menacing pose, one on each side, to approach the group of sailors. "Attack?" Krtk asks Martin as he passes him (in gnoll, but that's one of the words the group learned in each other's languages).

Martin feels the door in his back slam against his heel shortly after the capstan arm clattered on deck.

"Attack...him," Martin says, pointing at the captain, and grinning a feral grin. Then he shoves his weight back at the door, to push it closed if possible. Then he looks at the nearest man and says: "Well, come on if you're coming. I'd like to get this done and get back to the tavern before last call."

(We need a little time warp here because I missed a part of Reller's post)

When Sailor #3 - the only one in chain mail like the Captain - starts to move over to regroup with his Captain, he suddenly claws at his face and shrieks in pain.
"Bjorn? What is it?" the Captain asks as he turns towards him, Martin's taunts momentarily forgotten.

(Read this as part of my previous post and react)

"I think they know we are here." Brax says as she moves past the Capstan. "Shoot them Gunter, Vee come with me, we need to take them alive if we can." With that she moves to the stairs, mace in hand, hood down her silver skin glittering in the moon light.

"heiligsblechle!" Vee curses in her mother tounge when she misses the Smuggler

"Well, they will know that we were here when we finished them" she grins and follows Brax down the stairs, holding her long staff ready to knock out anybody who comes to near- the action seems to be a lot of fun.

Reller draws forth other components and says. "We will need them to surrender in that case."
