Yasir, Pyros, Elsa and Mira: Wayfarer's Rest common room

Shortly after the bard's re-appearance, Merrick returns to the common room taking a place at the end of the bar near the kitchen. he listens quietly to the music, sipping his wine.

[Ooc: Nocturno and Namenlos, you guys should take a quick look at his description in the 'party knowledge' thread. The ears aren't readily apparent.]

[Nocturno]

Pyros will watch his drink for about 30 seconds more.

The music will lift his spirits. When the faster paced music starts he will start to dance around trying to find other people who will dance with him.

Yasir, Pyros, Elsa and Mira: Wayfarer's Rest common room

Elsa takes the offeres key and slides the other towards Yasir. The Kender begins dancing to the rapid gypsy music, and Elsa taps her toes in time. Finally she laughs and steps up to him, Nothing gets you down for long, does it? She laughs again and joins in. While there is barely room between the tables and the bar, the two smaller patrons seem to make it work.

[Namenlos]

Yasir will pick up the key slid his way and pocket it, Yasir will also embarassedly sit back down after being scolded.
"This place is strange and different... I let my paranoia get the best of me."

Don't worry about it, Elsa says, mid-twirl. If ypur day was anything like ours, it's no surprise we're all a little tense.

The time seems to pass quickly and Mira finishes her set to healthy applause, noting her tips.

Yasir con check: [1d20] = 18. Fail. Yasir is slightly intoxicated. temporary +1 morale, -1 int, -1 wis

Mira grins as the smaller members of group dance, perhaps she could convince Guilliam to clear the tables and let them dance more.. Collecting her tips she slips them into her pouch and approaches the group.

"Guilliam, could I get four glasses of wine?" Shooting him a smile she props her lute against the bar, tying back her hair with a piece of ribbon before grabbing a chair. Spinning it round and slides up to the table next to Yasir. "Go on." She asks in common "You have questions correct?"

[Nocturno]

Pyros will sit along with the group, which will be a nice rest after the dancing.

He will let the large folk speak first, he has repeatedly reminded back home, that no one wants to hear from the Kender.

Pyros will grab a steel piece and start to play with it slight of hand style.

[Jenara]

"I've never been to Kendermore." Mira comments interrupting the silence, turning to Pyros, "I did met quite a few on the road between Haven and Palanthas.."

[Nocturno]

Looking quite astonished that the musical lady brought up Kendermore!

"Ah Haven, they know Kender there too well, but Palanthas, there is a city that a man can get lost in!"

He will then get a serious look on his face, well as serious as a Kender's face can get"Howlonghaveyoubeenhere? Howdidyoulearntospeaktheirlanguage? Howdidyougethere? Iwokeuphereafterbeatingagoblinatdice! Doyouplayanyotherinstruments? DoyouknowtheKenderwanderingsong?"

Pyros will finally have to stop and take a breath.

"Perhaps." Mira takes a deep breath, and didnt often sing a cappella, her voice often needed accompaniment..

Before a year was done, good old Dan was rich again,

Fingers banging on the table top she keeps a fast rhythm, her long nails clicking with each motion.

"I think.. You wanted to know how long I have been here, and how I learnt the language?" Pulling her pouch close she continues, "I have been here for about three weeks, i was attacked by Draconians in the park in Palanthas. The mists brought me here. The language takes time and study, lots of time and study."

"But first, your names." She glances at the three of them, "My name is Mira, Mira Rhelarwen, or as I am known here, Ruby or Red the Gypsy Bard."

Each of the group sits or stands near the recently cleared table next to the bar. Elsa listens to the interactions, not saying much but paying attention. Finally she speaks, My name is Elsa Tallfellow, and this is Pyros. We just met yesterday in a tower, but it wasn’t supposed to be where it was, you know? I had been there the day before and it… I dunno… just changed places! I don’t even know where we are! And then we met this guy, nodding to Yasir, who was in the same kind of spot! She sighs, looking over to the Kender. Hey! Where’d you get that?! Following her gaze Pyros realizes he has been idly playing with a gold piece, not the steel he thought… but it had come from his own pouch… hadn’t it?

[Jenara]

"It seems that happens a lot here.. Wherever here actually is." Her bottom lip curled up slightly in a frown she nods to Yasir, "Would you believe me if I told you I have been waiting three weeks for you all to arrive? I know, it sounds utterly crazy, but I saw you all in dream, you three were coming through the mists, there were other faces but I couldn't see them clearly."

"No offence intended Pyros." Her voice drops to a whisper. "I suggest you watch those hands, I know, I know, those coins fell in your pocket. I've learnt that although this place may seem nice, I get the feeling there is something dark here too." Shuddering at the thought of Lord Soth she continues. "All things best discussed later. You got the rooms I arranged I trust?"

Waiting for a reply her mind wandering, Lord Soth was here? Yet there were rumours his legion rode with The Blue Army... How was that possible? She knew his story had something to do with an Elf Maiden, she was his fall from grace, would that explain why there were Elves in his Land..? She was no Knight, just a singer of songs and a teller of tales, yet she was here to fix some balance.

"You'll get no argument from me!" Spouts Yasir with a smirk. "That definitely sounds crazy!"

Yasir chuckles briefly at his own wit before the smile drops from his face completely, well almost completely it's still struggling to get free.

"Darkness can only be judged by light, I think. So either it's not so bad or there is a hell of a lot of good around here somewhere!...er...ahem...cough... cough... I've only had some experience with wolves here, and that was just their howling. I haven't even seen em yet." Finishes Yasir, weak attempts at humor still trying to escape him.

Hhmmm, more people and more questions is all I'm getting so far, but hey it's still my first day so there will be a learning curve, thinks Yasir to himself. This girls got a musical bent to her, perhaps she can think of something that rhymes with Harmonia, something better than begonia at least... and this little elf thing, I wonder how you get one...

Well we sure saw some, we nearly became lunch for three of them... Elsa says with a slight tremor in her voice. They were the size of horses!

[Jenara]

"Savage beasts." Mira mumbles as she watches Yasir, "And you are?" She asks still watching him, as she shifts her position in her chair, "And crazy or not it's what happened, I saw you all.."

She decides not to mention the Visitanti she still didn't fully trust these people, the dark skinned warrior seemed.. Protective, the Pyros was a Kender, an Elsa seemed nice enough.
